On internet we can find animated files, there are also packs (to make effects in movies). After effects, Photoshop, .gif, .png. After, we must make "the sauce, by ourselves". To experiment, to spend time. Your banner is a good start ! And it's your job.

If you do a right click on my banner, you can see the format (Image Information). But it's 700 by 200. The maximum. This is the design that gives this aspect (Rendering).
Don't get me started about Photobucket. They used to be brilliant. Then they decided to ignore their users and upgrade their website. Most reverted back to the old one, until they switched permanently. Then users started rage-quitting. I quit after 3-6 months of sending them constructive complaints, and seeing nothing done about them. Instead of dealing with fundamental problems, they just kept on with what they were doing. They didn't even try to fix the worst cosmetic ones!
These signatures are outstanding work. Humble request, a few to see if one among them strikes your artistic side, not to be greedy and ask for 4 Gretchin with/or Snotling! (For the luls) Painboyz - To encourage ork aftercare! Or just pain! Or both. Farseer - Because it'll be very popular with them alien fellas. Kroot - Because Kroot look cool.
