This reminds me of when Blizzard hired Andy Chambers as their Creative Director (I wonder what his salary is...damn). Although Andy Chambers going to Blizzard was bigger and more shocking news, as he was basically responsible for WH40k as we know it. Graham was just an era of 40k, Chambers practically was 40k.
Yes, i believe starcraft was meant to be a 40k game until GW backed down from it. Now its just a really bad rip off.
Blizzard had a hot date with GW but then they broke up and did their own thing. They still didnt live up to the expectations.
In a Way they killed the Lore, The mostly removed the World around the Characters, But the characters Stories are still there. but yea they can do that, Its their game so why not
I'm pretty sure Andy Chambers arrived at Blizzard long after Starcraft because famous. Now, if Starcraft became even more like 40k since, then perhaps. Despite being a huge GW fan and having given them thousands of dollars for their products, there are three decisions of theirs that I'll never forgive them for: 1. Finecast 2. Killing WHFB and 3. Firing Andy Chambers!! Though I imagine Andy wouldn't have it any other way, since Blizzard probably has 100 times the $$ and resources that GW has, and pays him a massive salary in comparison.
