Hello, I got this weird performance problem. My pc specs are: amd fx cpu 4core @4.5GHz, 12gb of ddr3 ram and nvidia gtx 690 graphics card. gfx drivers are up-to-date and i use win10 x64. My fps rarely is somewhere around 45-60fps (gpu usage then is about 50-60%).But usually it is something like 20-30fps. i noticed that when the fps is low, my gpu is not utilized more then 30 % which is the cause of low fps. I also noticed that if the player amount is 16vs.16 or more , I get that low fps with low gpu utilization for sure. I'm just going to ask if you are aware of this kind of problem? and if there's any other gamers similar setup to mine, please post your findings and performance suggestions to this thread. any suggestions other then "wait for optimization patches" are welcome i have tweaked my .ini file to as low graphics settings as it's possible to tweak it. best regards, Jushi
it's a lack of optimization, the big part of optimization will come after all the feature. but apparently dev have started wowking on it: they are going to create larger maps with more players and doing some test with 64 players for increase performances.
There is a definite drop in fps when more players join a match. once its 15-20 on each side i can go from max settings to lowest, 1920x1080 - 1280x720 and get no increase in fps. I've even toyed with overclocking my cpu and gpu little to no change once that player threshold is reached. exact same fps ranges as you mentioned. I also upgraded from a gtx 650 to a gtx 950 with very little gain. without overclocking I5 -quad 3.3ghz 12gigs DDR3 ram GTX950
Same here. No reason I should be getting 20-30 fps. r9 390x. I sometimes get 60 fps, but it decays rapidly the more I play.
