Who would be interested in supporting a designated day of the week when an individual member of the development team wears a pair of Google Glass during their workday, and stream it live on the site? I originally thought of this idea as a facetious response to the so called lack of transparency. After some consideration, I realized that it would almost be the epitome of transparency: literally watching members of the team develop the game. It could be boring, sure, depending on the individual utilizing it, or it could be quite interesting. Either way, it would be an industry first in "no marketing firewall."
No id really not like a Big Brother show based on Behavior. Their headquarters are not a a reality game show and it wouldnt be allowed in the first place within their headquarters (who knows what random things this camera could film that should remain within the confines of Behaviors walls). As for the facetious claims some of the people on the forums state, if people arent satisfied with how open they are up to this point they should go to this magical imaginary place where people are actually more open than Behavior already is.
I completely agree with you. I'm just curious to see how far they expect transparency to go for their own satisfaction. As such, I couldn't think of anything past a literal stream of their day to day operations.
I hate the idea of working in an office (even if it is on something involving 40k) and have absolutely zero interest in watching other people work in an office.
office work can be really funny ^^ (there is also a german comedy series about an office ) ya for sure i would love to see this but i think it could end bad, they are still humans in some ways so they might say something really stupid like "omg not that stupid question of this stupid forum member again! EMPEROR PLEASE KILL SAVIJ!!!" or imagine he is going to toilet and forget that this glasses are still on >_< nurgle approves!
SOE did something similar with a development day in H1Z1. Of course everything was choreographed and they had members of the community show up and they had a huge AMA. It did Get 20,000 twitch tv viewers and generated a bunch of hype. Yeah I could see BE doing something like that and it being tremendously sucessful.
i have a better idea. the team make weekly playtest session. the team can stream the session on the twitch channel
