Well in their defense they said in the patchnotes that the MM was supposed to remain largely unchanged. I'm thinking maybe they messed up and nerfed it when they didn't intend to or more than they intended to. I think the MM was fine as it was.

I'm fine with normal melta's changes, but kicking MM this hard is stupid and unnecessary considering just how horribly underutilized it was. Cause right now. Multimelta is worse at all ranges than it was pre-nerf at point blank 5m minimum Also I've been crumpin tanks fer ages. I didn't even know people used the MM. All I've ever seen were suicide Tacs with Meltabombs. FINE THOUGH, CHANGE THE MELTA GUN. Well this is what happens when people complain. The devs swing the nerf hammer at anything that moves. Part of me wants to watch the stream and see if they answer my question about how this decision was made.
