You can't honestly be this ignorant, thinking it's LSM and CSM spamming melee, if you think this behavior is in any form unique to LSM and CSM, and don't see that there's equally as much (if not more) melee spam on eldar and orks, then you're absolutely blind, or just blinded by your bias. I play all the factions to get a sense of how they all play, but there's a distinct increase in melee-spam presence from eldar and chaos, whereas orks just spam when they're forced to melee (i.e; reverting to spamming when their initial tactic fails)
That point seems kinda moot. Eldar Vehicles have 60% health now compared to every other faction. Of course they blow up much easier than the rest despite the nerf to melta guns.
Electro Axe power attack was doing unintentionally high damage, as stated by the devs, thus getting nerfed not because of whine but because the devs looked at metrics. Power Klaw lunge got the same range-fix as the Power Fist did, so nothing biased about that when it's literally just a delay to a fix that was applied to LSM and CSM previously. "Bonus HP Loss" was to accommodate the new change which makes orks take less damage. Burny choppa isn't nerfed yet, but it should have been the same time RoF got nerfed because of excessive whine, meanwhile CSM still have necrotic chainsword being just as powerful, and eldar have their poisoned chainsaber still untouched. Fire Dragon's didn't "get nerfed" because fusion was nerfed, both fusion and melta got nerfed. Both sides got the nerf (yet FD still has double melta bombs available, and also the fusion pistol for all eldar that can use sidearms). Hunter's Mark was nerfed by the devs because they looked at metrics and saw it overperforming compared to what they intended it to perform like. Striking Scorpion hasn't gotten anything new on the nerf front, and are still 100% capable of oneshotting. Eldar Psychic Powers got fixed not to stack, as that was clearly glitch exploiting of a bugged mechanic. HB was said to get only a nerf to the damage it dealt to vehicles because in metrics they were "overperforming against vehicles", then they proceeded to reduce it's damage to vehicles (which is it's own type of damage in their code, i.e; a weapon does a certain damage against a set type of target, the classes are usually infantry, vehicles, objects, like gates and such), they didn't just stop with the damage to vehicles, they also nerfed it's damage overall, it's ammo, it's accuracy and spread, and gave it more rapid overheat. All this when they stated they would be nerfing one thing with it. (Though people have said the additional nerfs were to make chaos favor the auto cannon vs the HB, as the auto cannon was "underutilized") HB dps = 380dps, Dakka Deffgun dps = 377,78. HB heat = 1.67, Dakka heat = 1.12. HB ammo = 300, Dakka ammo = 350. Outside of that it's just a difference of 0.05° of spread per shot. "A dakka deffgun is worse than a HB in pretty much everyway." You are clearly heavily biased and have no facts behind your statements, don't even take the time to just look at the stats. SM have a trackrecord of getting nerfed every patch, unlike the other factions. Stop crying and please stop being a part of the vocal minority that gets treated like the majority, because it's exactly this type of misinformation that gets spread causing devs to do reactionary nerfing, which is the absolute worst way of balancing a game
I like the changes. TTK for vehicles is raised, as it should be. Meltabombs might need a slight nerf as well, but besides that I'm quite happy with how it turned out. On my first run with my Melta tactical I killed two vehicles (including Meltabomb for first) in adequate time (no one tried to stop me, so...) and afterwards had to use my backup ammunition for the first time ever with my Melta tactical. Yes, first I was a bit shocked it took almost my full ammo to kill two tanks, but thinking about it, it's ok. With backup ammo you can kill about 4 tanks now before you have to go for a ammo crate, which is 4 fucking tanks killed by a single player.
Yes LSM and CSM do spamming melee. Especially JPA melee, everyone knows that. And they do this because dbash doesn't affect them that much. They also know that nothing can counter their power swords fast attacks, nothing can break these swords because it's either has lower tier or is slow as turtle. So please stop denying this. But only sm/csm have power weapons swinging with the speed of chain swords combined with dbash halfworking on them. Why didn't you mentioned that, huh? So, again please stop. I played as sm jpa, and i was able to make 40 easy kills just by spamming fast attacks, it's not even closely connected with the skill, it's just a broken mechanics that sm/csm guys are happy to use. I especially like the ability to jump out of the stun that prevents enemy to hit you even if you completely fail melee mechanics and was properly dbashed.
Witch Blade, Power Sword Banshee and Scorp Chainsword. One's a force sword, the other can clang against power fists when the enemy is screeched and Scorp chainsword has a damage multipler from stealth. What was that about power swords not existing for anyone else? All classes can roll away from D.Bash bar maybe heavies. JPA just find it easier due to absurd roll distance and response time, which Eldar somewhat mimic in their more responsive movement but can't circle boost nearly as effectively which is part of the problem. Put your bias down, you do no-one any favours by putting Xenos on a pedestal because they can't abuse broken mechanics quite as hard- oh wait the Storm Boy exists. With innate bonuses as mentioned? Oh.

Could you help me find these weapons in ORK section of Store? ))) Stormboys cannot use power weapons effectively since power weapons on orks are significantly slower than sm/csm/edar counterparts. Stormboyz can be effectively countered by power swords which is, i think most common weapon among other factions. Yes orks jpa use this broken roll out mechanics pretty often too, but they can't stupidly spamming fast attacks simply because it would break their weapons - they just can't ignore clash mechanics like JPA do.
Maybe it has been overnerfed but don't you combine this with melta bombs? they should do almost 50% of the job. Before this patch 1 melta bundle could onekill a Trukk...
