I use ded shiny rokkit launcha and in combination with superstikkbomb(meltabomb) it takes 4 rokkits in the back of the rhino to take it down. not 3. So, melta is still has more av dps than rokkit launcha, but finally it is not that ridiculously overpowered version which destroys transport in one full cycle in the back.and this is good and fair enoughto orks.
Probably in the minority, but loving the new melta changes. You can still take down a vehicle very quickly as long as you have a melta bomb and the meltagun is WAY the hell better against infantry now. As you no longer have to be up someone's ass to kill them with a meltagun, my FD has been racking up infantry kills. I think the change helps melta infantry be more well-rounded and it gives vehicles a much needed durability boost.
You do realize that they just made the long range damage the same as the short range damage, right? There was no range buff.
4 bursts might be a little too nerfed but its a move in the right direction. I wonder though how it is against infantry. It was already weak vs troops is it worthless now?
the rocket launcher is much more effective vs infantry. 1 shot kill. i think the rocket launcher is in a decent place right now. As is the melta gun.
Electro axe power attack, power klaw lunge range, loss of bonus hp on orks, burna choppa, FD fusion gun (twice now), hunters mark, striking scorpion got something weakened at some point I believe, eldar physcic powers, probably some others. Yeah some were "bug fixes" while others were straight up nerfs. Plus you act like HB were the only ones nerfed when it was all their equivalents on all factions. A dakka deffgun is worse than a HB in pretty much everyway. I'm sure there are others I don't recall or even know about. But don't act like it was just the SM factions getting nerfed when every factions gets nerfs to try and balance the game.
Multi probably not but regular melta is probably still a good ambush weapon which allows AV role as well.
Rokkit launcher is used by non heavy infantry right? shootas I think , THEY CAN HAVE A PISTOL!, I find that great plus you don't move slower which is great, I think it's the only non heavy launcher in game.
