Good job Devs! You made a enjoyable game that despite its problems has a decent following, and even though theres tons of complaints and you can't please anyone completely, your still making progress. So thank you for taking the time to make a game and still work on it after launch and after already being payed, unlike other.. companies. Anyway, just felt the need to thank you for making a game and taking input when theres an incredible amount of salt on the forum complaining and not really helping anything.
So before the haters try to force their opinion down our throats, as they always do, let's at least enjoy the fact that we have a rare but existing non-primate hate grade thread without any immature bullshit like "false promises ideas" and the inability to read the terms of service or accept that things have changed back in Alpha and that this is what we got. People need to understand that they won't get their money back and that they should have been more careful aswell as not believe everything planned or said in pre-alpha or alpha and expect it in the final product because that NEVER happens, in any game. The devs for their first big product and IP did flawlessly and if there are people having fun, especially the couple of thousand users (Since there are 16k players that have played the game last 2 weeks at I'm very well sure that either half or 1/3 are statisfied with the game since not everyone is a mindless rageboy) then there is more room to upgrade and draw even more people who are currently pushed away by the game's noticable flaws. But alas, even after using all the logic and mature behaviour, this will still get screamed at by some individuals I know, after all, you can never please trolls.
Well said. The game has problems. We can all agree with that. The devs are trying to make the game better but not all agree with that. This is going to be opinion based and since there are as many opinions as people, not everyone will have the same one. It is nice to see a positive thread for once, but as Kharn said, this will get drowned in a sea of negativity. I do like the game. I think it has promise. Devs, tell your team that many players DO appreciate the work you put in, even if others simply refuse to see it in their need to knee jerk their hatred. It is far easier to hate. Yoda put it best- 'Faster, more seductive the Dark Side is. But once down the dark path you tread, forever will it dominate your destiny.' Not all of us follow the Dark Side. Keep up the good work! I actually went in and changed my review for the game yesterday. It's still not a recommendation (just yet) but I look forward to when I can give it a thumbs up!
I know right?!? Recently some people can see that (regardless of the current state of affairs) the team is actually trying their best with what they have. Besides some balance issues and the delay of some features, I actually really enjoy the game right now (to a certain point). There are times when I want to yell at the game but the best thing to do is report the issue and try not to add more salt to the already growing mound of hate. They know that there are issues, they are working on them. They may not respond to the forums as much as we would like but to be honest I wouldn't want to either, with all of this bashing going around.
I gotta say, on one hand, the game has giant problems, and there are the unfulfilled promises that irk me, on the other hand I can't stop playing it, so the game does have that something. Like that girl that isn't super hot, but you just can't stop thinking about purging some heretics with her.
