"The showcase of our skills should not be achieved solely through combat, for if that was the only purpose of this charade," Black Fang responded with his eyes closed, not moving by an inch. "Because our powers are not some toys to be used as we see fit. We have responsibility, if we strayed from that path we would be no better than the monster you call Bloodmoon." "So if you wish to provoke a reaction, it will not happen. We are our own masters." The man opened his eyes this time, however turning his gaze towards his compatriots, not caring about the Instructor any longer. "This was obviously some twisted way to get us to know each other better, but I believe we should talk about it, instead of fighting like rabid beasts."
"You said you should talk about it. But in the briefing room nobody of you even greeted one another. You had a chance to talk, and you all simply ignored it, let it go by." The instructor countered and looked over toward Artium and the Amazonian, nodding in acknowledgment.
Nextrica was surprised to the point of sighing aloud at just how thick this idiot was, as surely her age was obvious to anyone given her rather scrawny appearance, so she said "For your information you mindless savage, I'm fourteen." But her mind was also focused else where, namely the instructor's control panel..... Soon, she had full control over the panel by subjugating it to her will, and so had full control over the arena. A brief inquiry showed her the options the panel offered the instructor, and after a chuckle, set the arena walls to lift up and the speakers to set off a high pitched squeal, loud enough to hurt ears.... Including her own. So she covered her ears and crotched on the sand before sending off her command to the panel. Nextrica was sure that it would work, for she only had her tight, almost form fitting interface suit and her fists for protection if it failed. But when was she ever wrong about things not working?
She wasn't sure why, but Fang's refusal to join the fighting made sense to Tiger; she felt there was more to this, maybe. Maybe they were overthinking it, but for the time being, she thought him correct. "So, getting to know each other? I can do this." Sitting down cross-legged from Black Fang, Tiger looked around the colosseum, feeling the warm sand below her. "My name's Maximilia Füchsinger, I am nineteen, and from Germany. I grew up in a strict house and spent most of my years learning and trying to be well-rounded by excelling in every field. I am here because I want to use my power - a power that allows me to protect and mediate better than others - in order to improve the lifes of Norms. I don't believe in lethal violence as the only way, so I practice Shotokan Karate. I feel I should get comfortable with the thought of killing though."

Artium looked to Hemi. "well it seems we will first be done when all have surrendered or have been rendered icapacitated. but since our fight is done, should we end it for the others?" Artium said, as he readied himself for more combat.
(OOC yaay a fellow Shotokan college! ) "Quite interesting, the only thing I know about martial arts is what I learned here in the academy, so I would happy to watch you fight sometime. My story on the other hand, is quite different." "I have no idea what my real name is, this nickname I was given by the men in the academy. I have spent all my life in the great mountains and forests of Western Serbia, being a sole survivor of a plane accident where my parents died. Of course, I learned all those things much later, when I was able to fully understand my position. My power is that I can commune with the spirits of the elements, making Nature both my Mother and Father, therefore allowing me to channel its energy for good. I joined this academy because I felt that the world is changing - it spoke to me, I heard it in the wind, water and earth. I understood this is the only way to preserve what is left of our world, to try and fight for a better tomorrow." Black Fang wanted to talk more, however he was interrupted by high-pitched noise that made him growl. Quickly getting up on his feet and turning around, he saw that the walls were down and he decided to seize this opportunity. With a pounce, the man jumped away from his arena and charged towards the Instructor and his console, planning to end this test once and for all. (OOC he gonna smash the console, not the guy. Hopefully, that is )
