GM Note: This is a superhero RP somewhat in a mix of Marvel, DC and Freedom Force. Main inspiration are the latest Marvel movies which mix humor with serious action and decisive battles. Below you will find a summary of what has happened to our earth to the year 2025 of which we will start and how it comes that your characters come together. History-Index: 1914-1918 1942-1945 1945 (Hiroshima) 1969 (Apollo 11) 2001 (World Trade Center) 2016 (ExoMars 1) 2022 (Night of Blood) 2025 (Hero Academy / Now) Earth, 1914-1918 - 'The Great War' The first world war is still in many individuals memories, perhaps because it gets taught in school? Alas, it was a horrible time for all those that lived through this era, especially those that would be capable of remembering and going to face the next world war. But what made this war special, was the push of technology and gas warfare. Submarines were invented, Aircraft carriers, flamethrowers and more tools of destruction and death for mankind to bring upon one another. But what would never surface, was that each power during this conflict drew their powers from the supernatural. Not in the way of black magic, voodoo and such alike. But ever since the new century has come, some individuals were born... Differently. They developed inhuman powers and features. Whenever it became public, a government would come, 'take care of their family' and control these special individuals. Flamethrowers were developed from the 'Phoenix' how he was code-named. A man capable of using fire in many ways. Creating fire orbs in his hands, spitting fire or even as a full-body embrace. Research that was done on him led on quick revelations of how fire exactly works and how it could be utilized for the regular human as a weapon. Submarines. Developed by the 'Mermaid' how she was called. Though unlike the old sailor tales, she was looking entirely like a fish-human. Scales from head to toes. Fins on the lower arms and back, big black eyes. Disgusting to some, useful to others. Because interestingly she had lungs and gills, allowing to breath under and above water as they worked separately but automatically. Her body allowed to endure more water pressure and gave ideas to underwater boats. There were at least a dozen more across various countries, but nobody would truly learn for sure who, what or where they were. Earth, 1942-45 - 'World War II' The second world war, similar to the first was not truly going to be won by the determination of mankind, but the few individuals among their rows. Yet, what some may not know was that the 'Inhumans' managed to get high-rank positions, such as the German 'Joseph Goebbels' who in fact was a Inhuman that could manipulate those around him, using them like puppets. But a former friend and now high rival Inhuman had joined the Russian military and revealed at the turning point of the second world war the true nature of Germanys, or well Josephs plan. To turn all into Inhumans and reveal the truth to the entire world, that their lives were filled with lies. The plans were crushed when several Inhumans turned against Axis, due to the reason that their secrecy makes them strong. Joseph quickly found himself alone and pushed onward multiple projects that included the Atom Bomb. For the worlds sake, he and Germany were stopped before it was too late and mankind continued to live in their unknown peace and trouble themselves with less important things such as politics... Earth, August 6, 1945 - 'The Darkest Night' (Hiroshima) But it seemed partially his plans were still going to surface when President Harry S. Truman of the United States utilized the Manhattan Project to use the most destructive weapon ever constructed. The Atom Bomb. The interesting thing for the future of Earth was that Hiroshima and Nagasaki may have been both crushed by these weapons. But that only Hiroshima would have a horrible side effect besides permanent destruction... Days of pure darkness laid on the crushed Japanese city and even with no clouds and bright sunshine, no light was to be spotted within. When the first exploration units were sent, none ever replied. Unknown to mankind yet, there was a unique mineral deposit beneath Hiroshima that has reacted with the Atom Bomb and ripped an actual hole into another dimension. A dimension of darkness. Inhumans across the globe moved together under several secret operations to Hiroshima and investigate. A war of light and darkness established and many died, with no memory or legacy to leave behind as all was confidential, secret and never made public. Even the more experienced masters of their powers like Blaze have died here. If even anyone survived and how the dimensional rift was closed - unknown. Earth, July 20, 1969 - 'The Invasion' (Moon landing; Apollo 11) The space programs of Russia and the United States seemed like a technological race for the conquer of the Moon, but it wasn't. It was a race to save mankind. Once again, information was withheld from the public, when observations from NASA spotted awkward readings from the Moon. Each day the readings where different, as if it evolved from day to day - week to week. Sooner or later they learned that the moon indeed was charging with electrical and magnetic energy which upon release would endanger the earth, due to it's natural magnetic sphere that keeps it protected from effects like Sun storms. If it was natural or unnatural was unknown to this point and everything possible was started to get an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Bomb up to the moon and disable whatever was causing it. In July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 was ready with Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin 'Buzz' E. Aldrin, Jr. Or 'Armstrong', 'Coil' and 'Buzz'. All three were inhumans. Neil with the power to lift up to a ton with each hand. Collins to absorb and unleash electricity and Aldrin to reach out to minds with telepathy and also slightly change someones attitude to a certain person or situation. Apollo 11 was loaded with an EMP... Coil. Since every attempt to imitate his powers have failed, yet. However, they realized soon that it was indeed an unnatural cause to the moon that caused it's charge. On the dark side of the moon was a hidden access tunnel to the inside, where an alien species - similar looking to insects - were preparing to destroy Earth in such way that it would turn into a similar celestial body as the Moon, which is a perfect atmosphere for these creatures. Armstrong, Coil and Buzz managed to defeat the aliens by Coils absorption of all stored energy of the moon-facility and leading it back to their main generator. The critical system failures caused the generators to have a chain reaction and detonated, burying it all. It is to assume that indeed the 'live' footage was faked as later on exclaimed by individuals. Earth, September 11, 2001 - 'The War on Terror' (World Trade Center destruction) Without major wars or other catastrophes besides the cold war and possible nuclear war, many Inhumans decided to train and live privately. Many governments offered special programs so they may live normal in Inhuman camps that were basically covered up as rehabilitation centers and such. In the end they all lived a good life, having always a special place in the governments across the globe and some unique abilities truly helping research. Telepathic talented individuals helped neurological research. Gill-blessed individuals helped understanding biology of water creatures. Super-intelligent individuals with research overall as their standard IQ was easily over 200 and their brain activity two to six times higher than those of regular humans. Then there were also Inhumans that uncovered entire new kind of technology, like high regenerative ones. But when a presumed Terror attack destroyed the World Trade Center in the USA, it was quickly surfaced in secrecy and to Inhumans that it was, what everyone had feared: An Inhuman terror organization. The world quickly made something up regards Iraq and declaring war, when indeed everything was a repeat of the second world war - just worse. Inhumans had risen to power in the middle-east and other parts of Asia and Africa, pooling their resources to bring the fight to the big governments. The fight would continue over many years, because it seemed their leader 'Bloodmoon' could never be found, no matter how many hideouts were cleared out...
Earth, July 20th, 2016 - 'The Exploration' (Mars landing; ExoMars 1) Many 'heroes' and 'villains' as the Inhumans started to be categorized now died during the War on Terror, but the efforts globally lowered and lowered, as a return of the 'Space Wasps' was anticipated when the first space agencies landed their research units and made similar readings as back then NASA with the moon. In fact, it was an entire new threat. The same material that has caused the Darkest Night events of Hiroshima was discovered here. And it seemed to be not even controlled by anyone, it just grew exponentially in the underground of Mars. Soon a single 'man' would be sent to Mars, on July 20th, 2016, 50 years since Apollo 11 landed on the Moon. This 'man' was 'Lord of Steel' as he called himself. Being naturally made out of super-dense Titanium, later on upgraded with digital interfaces and other modules, which was somewhat an imitation of a popular Comic-book and these days also movie superhero. But his unique attributes allowed him to reach Mars quicker, since many supplies would be not required such as oxygen, food or water. Yet all he could do is research and observe, since there was nothing to fight... Yet. Earth, 2022 - 'Night of Blood' Bloodmoon finally had his moment come true and overwhelmed with a strike force the Lord of Steel on Mars. It was a fight supposingly going on for a week, until Bloodmoon himself stepped in and defeated the Hero. Having figured out the secret of the mineral, he wanted to control it and destroy all that were in his way, and even if Earth was to be sacrificed for it. He was ready to destroy everything and create his empire from scratch. And so he created with his genuine mind a massive Laser - also by salvaging the Lord of Steel - and concentrated it with the power of the mineral as energy core, blasting it straight against Venus which detonated when the core of the planet was cracked open. One half of Venus headed for the sun, the other... For Earth. But just as it was about to reach Earth, Bloodmoon fired upon it again and splintered it enough to deny the Hero-Inhumans to prevent a catastrophe. huge chunks of the once planet made for earth and devastated it, killing millions and millions of people and revealing the existence of Inhumans by Bloodmoon who collected footage over the two decades they attempted to stop him. The world knew the truth when a new down was reached. It was a huge victory for Bloodmoon, but it also would bring ultimate wrath and further unforeseen consequences. The material used as energy core also has affected the parts of Venus in such way that the birth chance of Inhumans increased by 400%. And it seemed that some parts consumed from food and in the water caused even already living humans to turn into Inhumans. Soon it would become a war between Earth and Mars. Heroes versus Villains. Earth, 2025 - 'Hero Academy' Three years of almost nothing but a race of arms occurred. With most of North America and East-Asia destroyed, the governments found together in Europe and the middle-east, cooperating extremely tight in attempt to take Bloodmoon and Mars out. But South America and South Africa became headquarters for Earth operations of Bloodmoon, just as the ISS became a defensive platform against whatever would come from Mars, along with many and first ever militarized Satellites. A Hero Academy which would train it's students in basic knowledge among sciences and warfare was established, also to teach those with special powers to control and utilize their powers to their best and especially to use them against Bloodmoon. Though in the southern regions and lately even in the more central regions of Europe and Asia, Villainy operations started to rise and higher priority missions are handed to younger and younger heroes. The youngest deployment age being currently 14 human years and 3 months training in the Hero Academy.

Some older, some younger. Some smarter, some less. Some tech-savvy, some rather on the level of tribal warriors. But all lived through the Night of Blood and all knew the past of their Inhumanity, even if some were more aware it than others. They all knew: They were abnormalities in the eyes of those without special abilities. In 2024 it was decided to split countries in territories for Humans and Inhumans. Serbia was one of those small countries that had not enough natural resources and such to be worth keeping for Humans, so it became a nation of Inhumans. Though in the end where one lived did little matter as the UN governed it all. The EU was removed and the UN given more rights and permissions to govern the leftovers of Earth properly and create a united front against Bloodmoon who resided on Mars, having built even a colony with his means. Before the incident nobody truly knew of Inhumans. But with it being public now, heroes and villains alike were created. Bloodmoons propaganda to turn all into Inhumans did not sound too well in the ears of the regular humans, whereas some of them even supported him. But those that know that the powers are also a burden and understand that it should not get in everyones hands would become heroes. And the hero academy would teach Inhumans exactly that. How to control ones powers, when to use them, why to use them and especially why Bloodmoons plan was wrong. If everyone would have powers - still caused from an unknown phenomena with only theories existing about it, could have devastating consequences. Generation after Generation more and stronger powers would develop and each individual would be capable of destroying entire planets or even creating so. It would be ascending to a god-like status which is beyond mankinds ethics. No being should be allowed to play god, that is why cloning got forbidden, that is why Inhumans live in specific areas, that is why Nuclear Weapons have been eliminated. In the end, it looked like both would always exist. Humans and Inhumans. The entire team was located in a briefing room where they would all meet each other for the first time, given that they had been in various facilities until now. <As everyone sits in the room, the main screens on each wall played the news> "Once again we can see decline in BAE Systems stocks, ever since the failure to present their proposed prototypes for energy shields, along with an aircraft capable of entering and leaving Earths atmosphere multiple times without any damage whatsoever. Financial Experts say that if no solution is found for the company within the next decade, they might actually go bankrupt. It is unimaginable to many as they were the leading Defence, Naval and Aerospace manufacturer over the last years. It seems the death of the married board members couple Cartwright signaled the death sentence for this company." "On Bloodmoon development we heard that more movement is going on in Africa, but all is just rumor and we still cannot say for sure what is going on as the UN declared it to a war zone and therefor forbidden. But what we know is that something is being constructed in South Africa what seems like a massive building - it's purpose? Unknown." "Finally an increase in the Entertainment sector, after hollywood and many other film, game and music locations have been obliterated by Venus. Former rivals Sony and Microsoft had fused together to make a new gaming console. Despite all rumors, it seems to be called 'Morpheus X', most likely the name is a combination from the X-Box of Microsoft and the rather successful Morpheus Virtual Reality system that Sony had released in 2015. The release is planned for November 11th, 2025, the same day when Samsung-Nintendos console 'NES Galaxy' is going to be released. A homage to the old 'NES', Nintendos first gaming console, and Samsungs popular 'Galaxy' phone and tablet series. The Korean-Japanese company aims on mobile gaming by using wristbands as the controller, similar to the Wii, but with far improved Leap Motion, while any Galaxy device can be turned into a Virtual Reality screen, or if preferred still be played on a home screen TV. It is yet to see which will triumph, but in the end. The Entertainment Industry and the people win, for finally being capable of tuning out of the tragedies of real life once more." The ESA is planning to launch a Space X rocket to the rings of Saturn, with rovers and satellites on board to take samples of the many many smaller objects orbiting the Saturn in attempt to find out more. The launch is scheduled next week, October 31st at 7pm from the Berlin-Tegel Launch Pad, Germany. It will be the first start from this Launch pad which was created after the mass migration of Americans and Asians. Berlin became obsolete with the government having moved to Bonn once again, and the rocket site was ideal after the earth shifting due to Venus' mass having altered Earth. Artium cared little for the news, they where allways the same to him, so it mattered little, he made time go by, by simply learning back in his chair while drawing random glyphs and marks on his notepad, while also looked around the room at the varius people that had been asembled, an odd bunch, but wherent they all that here in Serbia?
