I can tell you right now MYST would do this all day if we could.... The only problem is that the ratio between us... Vs everyone who wants to try an fight us is extremely not in our favor.

And there is such a thing as playing casually with a guild. Being in a guild does not automatically equal competition. It often leads to halarity and interesting tactics. We often will play in ever more interesting ways against PuGs to get more out of the match. Can't do that with PuGs. It's the same thing every time, guilds like MYST can offer very different experiences towards other teams based on what we're trying to accomplish.

it is the future bro and 5 out of 7 days i play alone too. i win some i lose some I dont cry about it like you do. be aware of what you can and cannot do and dont blame other that do all they can to increase enjoyment. Its a team based game. Teams playing against teams. Its not a ffa or deathmatch game sorry to tell you.

As far as showing consideration, I do very much. I help people like you realise that the reason your being held back is you and only you. I help people find guilds or group, I help them in game with chat even though i get killed by typing. Especially for people on this forum which you are one of, you have acces to open discords for people that are not in groups but want to find people with mics to play with just in general.

you like a kid pouting sitting in a corner continuously saying "NO.. no.. i have no friends so they cant have friends" im sorry buddy if there were 100 000 players in this game I would say sure no problem make guilds an entirely seperate part but then what abut 5 or 6 man groups with mics they are not full teams of guilds yet still steam roll scrubs and nubs. To ask for a rapture in the populous of this game i can tell right away you arent in touch with reality. For one its a multiplayer online only game, second the population is not large enough to even consider such a thing.

And like i said before you have it all at your fingertips and I will go one step further. Add me on steam 6th - Fireston.

When refusing to use the options available to you do not cry or complain when other do all they can to improve their quality of play.

Join a guild, dont have a guild join a group, dont have a group join an open discord for lsm, dont have a mic then perhaps its time to buy one especially in a online only game.

your here in the forums anyways buddy instead of complaining that other people have buddies to play with, spend your time in the recruitment section or the discord section.

No company or person in this world will feel bad for not catering to someone who choses to limit their own experience. You are holding yourself back, no one is holding you back or stopping you from anything.

it happens that at times there is no one to play with which is why i play alone also. Just do what you can in those matches, grab first place and most kills or points so that at least you are doing your part. There is nothing more i can tell you I even invited you to join me.

Now the ball is in your court, you have all the info and resources you need to better the experience which you consider lacking. Lets see if you will do something about it.

    Ohh on the contrary.

You can solo play and do perfectly fine, as I do for the most part.

    HOWEVER!

Solo queuing does NOT mean you are NOT obliged to team play.
There is no hope for PuGs unless they finally understand that.

I'm trying to lead and guide pugs when I can, but if people don't listen, you can't achieve anything.

That's why I joined a guild, to play with less stressful enviorment of people who actually DO listen, follow orders and cooperate with each other.

Pugs can't do that, however, pre F2P, chaos, eldar and ork pugs were able to roll over guilds at a decent win rate, so guilds aren't unbeatable by pugs.

Just because you que solo doesn't mean you play alone and if you don't cooperate and communicate with your team, you WILL keep losing, guilds have nothing to do with it, they just make it painfully obvious.

An overly generalizing, patronizing, and arrogant post doesn't really help your point get made.

It's not a team game. It's a teamwork game. You're suggesting players are required to find 3rd party groups to play this game with and that's the only way they should play.
Narrow minded and not inclusive of other play styles. This isn't the 1960's. Everyone has an equal right to play this despite joining a guild or not.

You're also not teaching anything to anyone other then your refusal to accept the solo play style.

Btw this thread is a far cry (pun) from a pure whine thread. I politely asked for a solo queue feature. Since you don't agree with that, you throw this thread into the "whine" category bin because then you can justify your dismissal of it.

I'm pretty much done with our side convo. Have a good one.

    ok ...

a "team game" does not mean that the "team" has to work together as a unit or require that the "team" be organised,

a "team game" is a game where the players are grouped together in "teams", these "teams" either lose or win as a group ... meaning a single player does not win or lose independant of their "team",

    and thats all,

    • it doesnt mean you have to do what some random person tells you to,
    • it doesnt mean you have to use VOIP and coordinate tactics,
    • it doesnt mean that a player doing their own thing is deliberatly trying to saboutage the efforts of others

  6. You don't need to join a guild, you don't need to join a group. But this is a team based game so I would suggest checking out discord and asking to join a war party. But there is no requirement to join guild/group to enjoy this game just makes it easier to enjoy.

You're confusing the definition of "solo".

I play Rocket League, and when I queue for solo, it doesn't mean I'm driving around and totally ignoring my teammates.
I don't know my teammates, but we work together against another team that also doesn't know each other, i.e. it's reasonably balanced in terms of skill match up.

If I queue for a non-solo doubles match, I'm paired up with a total stranger, who I still have to work with, but 9/10 times it's against a team that was already grouped before the match and they probably know each other and have voice comms and will coordinate a lot better then me and this random guy.

So why do you think it's fair for a team of random players trying to work together to get stuck fighting an organized teams using voice communication that obviously all know each other before the match even started?
Who do you think has the upper hand?

I want the ability to go into a match and know that the team I'm fighting is just like my team. We all work together, but no one has any advantages over the other.
I don't want to be required to go out of my way, find some 3rd party group outside of what's included in the game, register for their website/teamspeak/whatever, have to go through some vetting process, have to go through some basic training or whatever they do these days, have to get on their VOIP, and then wait for guys to show up and try to coordinate something.

I want to just get home after a long day, log in, and queue up for a couple of quick matches. No fuss, no extra bs. No headaches.
That's what solo play is, and that's the queue I want.

your refusal to understand does not make your point stronger.

    1. not enough game population to separate the players & even then what happens to small man groups? do we separate them too? so then we end up with 3 games types all of which will have what a couple of hundred players in the pool? not enough players in the game for such a separation.

    2. I do my part everyday by limiting my guild to 15 members total and never forming larger groups than 5 or 6,

    3. I invite people with thick skulls like you to play with me and my buddies and so do others.

    4. Everything you choose to do is your choosing.

    5. I play alone 60-70% of the time and face full 15 man guilds all the time and do not cry/complain.

    6. Wish you put the half the effort you have talking to me into finding yourself some buddies to play or increasing your over-all skill.

    7. I want you to be happy with the game, want you to feel welcome and hope you never have to face a 15 man guild in a match. Im not against it if it were possible but please refer to point #1.

    8. This is not the first game like this, nor is it the second, third or 20th. The majority of online games are like this because people prefer to use out of game voice communication and no one likes playing alone unless they are forced to. The games that do separate players have a much larger population and a real competitive section with ranked matches and rankings and much better servers. Refer to point #1 if you disagree.

    9. Call me arrogant, say you are "done with this" it still doesnt make me wrong. Refer to point #1 if you disagree.

    10. I hope the future of EC is more to your liking and like I said, you can add me on steam and I/my buddies would be glad to play with you when you are available. even if it is not often whenever you want some buds to play with you can, you are always welcome.

Seriously buddy add me, anyone that has ever gone from playing by themselves to playing with a group of people who all have something in common experience alot more fun(in any and every multiplayer game not just EC). If i turn out to be the asshole you think I am just go ahead and block me. I promise you will see things differently. Im here for you, I want you to have fun, everyone deserves the best chance possible to have the most amount of fun.

Once again I have layed it out so you can play it out.

Hello just gonna leave this here

But in all seriousness its gonna happen like in any game you are going to at times run into Clans and Guilds who will stop the fuck out of you. Roll with it cause in the end your still earning Experience and still are able to enjoy the game. Yes I am in a Clan but I don't always play with them and have both won and lost the reality is people need to be a little more open to team work. Seriously watching two pain boys run past you into heavy bolter fire is so sad its funny.

    Hah, told you OP =/

You bring it up and they come out of the wood work to defend their stacks vs pugs set up... when its very easy to just say out loud

"A team of organized players with voip vs a team of thrown together pugs without any ability to use voip is fine...." yeah if your on the organized team of course it is... its classic have and have not scenario... guess which side wants to keep the status quo and which doesn't =p

Honestly its hilarious to read "Oh you don't need to group and it doesn't make a big difference, but god forbid you change or allow people to opt out of it"... which made sense when we were running on near death population numbers, but I said before and I say now if they want to retain these F2P spike in players they need to *gasp* make the game fun for new players to play.

Heh as I've said this has come up b4 your not the first to notice the subtle difference this game and most other online games have aka this one throws its pugs to the wolves against full competitive teams instead of limiting the amount of stacking you can do it random matches like most online other strangely enough more successful and higher playerbase games do.
