    Just glad the players for orks don't implement the mob rule from TT.

    Oh hey I am pinned by heavy bolter fire...geuss I better shoot my teamates now.

    Not sure if I am off topic but: Honestly, I really think we need a Wikipedia for these things such as numbers for weapons, EC's definition of things such as toughness, armor pen, ect even patch notes linking what directly changed to said faction, Even what went into the founders program that is still not in game. (I hate trying to find what was offered in the Founders program that links to 2-3 years worth of post to find something)

    It would rather help everyone knowing about these but sadly I don't think the wiki I saw was active.

    Maybe to represent Orks' biology they should have a certain amount of passive HP regeneration when not hit for 5 seconds?
    I support nearly everything that is intended to change the current Hitpoints/Armor/Toughness-system, because it will always misrepresent something. To be honest, I have no better idea at the moment (and I will probably forget to post it in case I came up with one or forget it 5 minutes after having it) but the current system does noone any good.

    I'd be down to removing all Ork armor and giving them +100 health in addition to changing all their armor regen mods to small passive health regen.

    So long as it's not a crazy combat regen and they can get a reasonable out of combat regen (maybe say a 1/3rd of your average armor regen), or maybe a health boost after an execution (which I feel should be the case across the board, except for Eldar) I'd be okay with that.

  6. Has a sufficient amount of noble genuine discourse been conducted to allow for trolls yet?

    I'm genuinely surprised there isn't any major flaming or trolling going on.

    Health is flat worse than armour, even with a regen effect I don't think it would be feasible to remove it entirely.

    We've had this discussion before and I believe 2 main points came out concerning the conversation topic generally and orks;
    1. The tabletop is not the most useful tool for emulating fairness and fun in a TPS.
    2. The orks on arkhona are considered 'skar boyz', somewhere between Nob and Boy which explains their relative survivability and resourcefulness.

    If we are playing straight up boys and taking ideas directly from the table top as fox has said there will be twice as many orks running around a match as another faction. Their survivability would be significantly lower to represent the weak save and we would shoot hails of bullets and have tons of attacks on the charge but peter out quickly after as our numbers dwindle. This might be entertaining for the enemy but does not strike me as engaging gameplay for an Ork.

    I guess what I'm saying is that I had a certain realisation that this isn't and probably shouldn't be exactly like the table top.

    I'd have to disagree. Health is very potent to have, especially moreso than armor. Heath soaks poison and ailments which bypass armor.

    While it can't be exactly like TT there is far more benefits to run the game more in line with it. Players of the TT will respond better to something that seems familiar.

    And armor soaks more bullets, plasma, and explosion which are way more prevalent in the game.
