Probably mentioned before but it's weird to gender lock you at creation. I just want a male SS and a female HB. Seeing too many Banshee dudes bothers me for lore reasons.

    ARE YOU ASSUMING OUR GENDER?!

  3. This was the plan and affirmed by the player base. We're supposed to be playing single characters.

That's also not really the lore. Howling Banshees are mostly female, but no longer exclusively, and it was never actually established that Scorpions were all male, there's even a female one in, you know, the first actual lore book about Eldar.
  4. I also would prefer it like the OP suggests, but oh well.
I want a bit of diversity. guess I will just level up 2 Eldar, thats what I got those extra character slots for :D

I know. I just think the boob plate in general is weird and the female version of the SS doesn't look as physically imposing as the male. SS being buff by Eldar standards. From my understanding, male HB are just a rare exception usually granted to Autarchs.

I like that idea, the illusion of "one character" isn't there anyway with all the Aspect switching.

I agree with Frinn. Take this for what it is worth, but I feel we should be locked to one class, of one race, of one Craftworld. Then they should really push customization, both appearance and play style. To do this they would have to really make the modules we equip do much, much more.
  8. I'm a Veteran! But only once per match! The illusion is a farce.

The boob plate is weird, as it's something very unpratical normally, keyword being normally.

The problem with Eldars is that the aspect warriors aren't just soldiers, but are eldars who take upon themselves a specific aspect of war. (In the case of the Howling Banshee, it would be the daughters of the Crone Goddess who where sent to harass Khaine...) They armors are wargears and costumes at the same time, made to be effective and ritualistic, something meant to protect the psyche of the Eldars from going wild. When an Eldar enters an Aspect Shrine, they don't pick it based on their preferences, but based on how their anger surface and what's best to learn to accept it. No Eldar chooses to be a warrior, in fact they're forced to become so that they can vent off anger and built up tensions. So, yeah, if you want to shout and scream at the world, then the Banshee is your path... Dudes or Dodoettes...

About the scorpions, they're not exactly bulkier, but are more considered stronger than the average eldar. It comes by the fact that they wield the heavy Scorpion Chainswords, but their training revolves a lot around speed and skills.

Lastly, about the Autarchs, the training to use the specific equipments of the Aspect Warrior takes Cycles, no Exarch would let someone who didn't properly trained get their hands on such relics without being sure they could make proper use of them. And by that I mean "No Exarch would give some piece of a ritual aspect armor from their temple to someone they hadn't trained themselves..." And this is splendidly portrayed by Yriel of Yandend who is an Autarch but has learned the path of command by leading Eldar Corsairs, thus carrying no aspect items...

(But to be honest I prefer the 2nd edition version of the Autarch...)
