Yeah, the article is gone now. While that doesn't mean the article was untrue, it does make it more likely. I doubt this justice dept is too interested in this stuff anyway. I am however a firm believer in everyone getting what's coming to them, even if it takes a long time to happen.
This may be old, but I love the #notyourshield campaign. It's a great response to the people that try blaming their crap on straight white males (otherwise known as the source of all evil). In some ways the gaming community seems ahead of the non-gaming communities. The people behind #notyourshield seem willing to put what's right ahead of what they look like, who they are attracted to or what their sex is. Too often people try dividing everyone into separate groups and act as if we must all be enemies. It's refreshing to see people rise above that.
Five guys burgers and fries. It makes a mockery of our society that people can start wailing that they're being persecuted and all the shit they just pulled is suddenly ok.
I would like to hope that people are catching on to this type of ignorance. Dividing people as many ways as possible and pitting them against each other seems to be the way some people make a living and feel important. Like I said, some people are fighting back, just like the #notyourshield campaign. Not everyone plays the oppression game or believes all the lies that people tell to generate hate.
