can someone explain why a gamepad would have any sort of advantage in melee(or EC in general) i'm srsly not seeing it.

    M&K for myself.
  3. Why didnt you offer third choice, Mouse+keyboard+gamepad?
I have my gamepad constantly connected, and in many games i use what is better for given situation, for instance in BF3/4 i constantly switch to gamepad when driving choppers or aircraft, and in Space Marine im almost exclusively on gamepad, cause it's much easier to do melee combos on it.

Keyboard and mouse, always. Mice are completely superior to analog sticks for aiming, be it melee or ranged combat. The only problem a keyboard can have, is if you're like me, and a key will occasionally stick and thus fuck up your movement and leave you a sitting duck. That sucks, but it's more infrequent. Plus, I'd take accuracy over, actually, I don't know of any benefit the gamepad has at all besides being ergonomic.

Going with M&K, that way I can bind every attack to one key and wipe out entire squads with my little finger :D

How is the mouse harder to string combos together? Hell, mine's easier as all you need is a mouse with five buttons or more. Stun's right by my thumb while my middle finger has melee.

manette pour moi plus simple carrement mdr j'ai jouer a space marine pendant plus de 3 ans a la manette et je fais des très bon truc alors que au clavier je vais etre nul ;)

Keyboard. Mainly because the mouse is just plain faster and more flexible.

M&K for me even if I'm gonna play melee classes mainly, why? because scorpions have a lot of firepower for a melee class (dual pistols if you use chainsabres, shuriken catapult if you use a scorpion claw and mandiblasters) and warlocks will have to aim their psychic powers, the accuracy and flick shots you can do with a mouse doesn't even compare to what you can do with a controller... if you are gonna play an assault marine you will be somewhat better with a controller, the movement is more precise with an analog stick than with a keyboard, if you are gonna play a ranged class... well this is not even a question lol.

I will probably have a controller around in case I play as a banshee or I play with my marine character.

Holy mother of necromancy you guys!
But yeah, PC master race and all that good stuff, no controller peasants allowed.
