Talking about game engines, I find "Phoenix Engine" quite adequate, it did power "Space Marine" for PC and it was used for the failed project Wh40k: Dark Millennium Online. Here's the latest edition of the Phoenix Engine: Enjoy Battle Brothers and as always, I always expect your thoughts on the matter .
It's too late for that now. They're in development stage and would be a waste of time and money to change Engines right now.
*COUGH* Frostbyte Engine CryEngine UnrealEngine 4 *COUGH* I would be able to die happy if any of these are used ;_;
let me ensure you, whatever we choose will be the perfect engine to do this game, high quality rendering and good framerate to support our massive battles!!!
said before i'm bias UE4 all the way but that could be expensive for a AAA mmo, i do know that mmo's where done with UE3 so it's posible
You know what, I'm going to throw 20 bucks on source engine 2! I know Source 2 will have poor olds so big pay out for winning!
I think Cryengine 4 has alot more mature realistic feel to it,which would bring out it's environment. Though Unreal engine 4 is much suited for those sci fi game thanks to those particles. But it doesn't do a bad job for those hardcore graphics people. I wait for SpaceHulk Deathwing to see what it can do with Unreal Engine 4 Frostbite 3 i can't say much about it. It does a good job in environment but Cryengine can match it or surpass it. Source Engine 2 is underdevelopment, but the time it comes out, it will be too late to change engines by then
