Haven't got to my enjoyable shuriken cannon stage yet, wanted to try daemonbolt and was disappointed.
@BrentEllison Is perhaps shuriken catapult rof/lower damage bug back? I've got the issue with shuriken catapults specifically(both ASC and TLASC), where you need 50+ shots to kill basically anyone.
Well... This is the Basic Wave Serpent Njord. These are the most basic weapons you get on them. In fact the Wave Serpent is still missing it's Iconic Serpent Energy Shield. So the only other option there is for the wave serpent is to get a twin linked Plasma gun (star cannon), Eldar Missile Launcher, more dakka (Scatter Laser) or a twin linked Lascannon (Bright lance). The Eldar Vehicles are already squishy, with a weakness in the front (cockpit) and the rear. They blow up faster than a Rhino or Predator (not sure about the Truck). Hell We need to run away from Heavy Bolter for some reason. Heavy bolter should not even leave a dent on a Eldar tank, but for some reason they do. Ohh and technically they are still Grav Tanks. Eldar have the best troop transport (spawn point) and the worst Battle tank (for taking down other tanks). The Falcon even loses out on Dakka because the gunner occupies 2 guns but can only fire 1 at a time. @BrentEllison I think it might be a better idea to upgrade the Rhino to a Razor Back over Nerfing the Wave Serpent. The Razor Back gives you Twin linked Heavy Bolters, Twin Linked Lascannon or Lascannon + Plasma Gun. It even gets to keep it's storm bolter. At least with the Razor back you bring Marines on the same Level as the other factions. You have Decent Dakka on your transport. The reason the Rhino has been left behind is because of the Storm Bolter Apocalypse. it was a beast in early Alpha. Now? No one cares about that little thing.
I like the look of Flickering Fire. Also, remember that you're playing an AS most of the time. It will be very wrong to have a ton of AS spamming advanced destructive spells all over the place. Not to mention it will look the real Sorc look cheap and indifferent.
The bracing is definitely not working as intended. Some maps have exactly the same walls, fences and rails yet some you can aim down on and others you can't. Thickness does not matter as they are both the exact same wall but acting differently in terms of being able to brace. I get the intention but atm it seems extremely sloppy in execution and will work against EC if it is left as it is as right now it just seems more like a bug than a feature. Still not getting any notification for debuff assists with warp instability either.
Am I the only one who feels that Eldar are extremely strong this patch? I primarily play orks and on the previous patch the go to loadout against them was either slugga or stormboy. Dar seemed stronger in all aspects (get it?) of ranged warfare, which I can understand, but weaker in melee range. Now with the changes to melee, particularly on the ork side of things, we have no chance of competing at any range. Any eldar class can out run an ork melee fighter. Without fail. They can also quite comfortably compete attacking in melee themselves. The ork ranged weapons are better now but let's be honest, they're not exactly our biggest strength. The twin linked shuriken cannon in particular is a beast. The wave serpents are so strong they actually out perform the grav tank. They can destroy a trukk 1 on 1 without losing a quarter of the hp. They are more maneuverable and therefore are much more difficult to pin melta bombs to. Am I the only one seeing these things? I'd be interested to see how they've been performing since the patch in comparison to before.
eldar were winning more then 50% battles before, they will win more this patch with all changes made enhance them even further: fixes, cost rebalancing(mainly - cheaping stuff), new fancy stuff.
it is confirmed to have 0 impact on W\L. It is confirmed that number of capping players have no impact as well.
