You can have this, but you must paint it your self. ;p But joke a side, give chaos a shield for melee if LSM get one with Bolters
I'd be fine if SM and CSM had different possible loadouts. If SM have a shield, I dont think CSM would need one too. Give some double axes or some shit. Korhne for the corn flakes and all that.
As shown in the video below, the Camera is lagging far behind the direction our Jump Assaults are facing. 1. It's critical that the camera tracks along with our character's facing so we can see what the heck is going on in the direction of our locked target in order to make a timely decision whether or not to dive or not to dive in for a ground pound. While the view of the side of my character in all his glory is really nice, I'd much rather have eyes on my locked target at all times. 2. The ground pound "bulls eye" is also way off of target. The bulls eye needs to be centered DIRECTLY ON TOP OF OUR LOCKED TARGET not off to one side 8 to 10 feet. The result of such lackluster targeting is no ground pound effect on the dive and often we dont even land in melee range. It's critical that the Raptors ground pound bulls eye aligns with the player's locked target. Just as a sniper scope must be aligned and be sighted into the rifle barrel, the Raptors Bulls Eye must align to the locked target. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6ZUziTwPWc&feature=youtu.be
Everyone will be getting the pre-order, founders and store items as appropriate. The SM/Chaos ones took longer than we thought since they're still not all there yet, but we've improved the pipeline so it'll be easier going forward. Plus Twin-Linked Shuriken Catapult, Hawk's Talon and Fusion Pistol. We're planning on giving Fusion Pistol as an option to most Aspects, kind of like the Plasma Pistol for a little splash into anti-toughness.
In terms of all the special rules, a lot of them are already in at least conceptually. The melee lifesteal is losely based on FNP. Eldar climb things extremely quickly= move through cover. Battle focus could be translated several ways: Accuracy loss is minimal after movement. Hipfire accuracy is decent. Ect. Fearless could add resistance or ignore suppression. Infiltrate is what the scorpions already have. It will not die is essentially MoN vs Shurikens atm. Ancient Doom is TBD. Feels like the hatred is already brewing however. Shrouded is probably the only one that would require a major rework to include. Maybe they could crouch lower while in cover so people couldn't clip them as easily, or be able to shoot out of cover without exposing as much of themselves... Like the one handed shooting from GoW. There's a lot of rules we could go through. They can certainly inspire interesting game mechanics... But likely won't be translated 1:1 and that's fine.
Hell yeah. That's all I needed. Keep me posted!!!! I promise you, if you do this, I will make a montage of thanks with a fatal Eldar Flying Knee to the face to every twitch and guild leader I can find as I scream Bonza!!! And HhhhhYYYEEAAHH!!! It will be hilarious. (DJ, Kane, EvLtime, Valrak, ect.), like Lee Sin, the blind monk kicking Baron into the enemy team's nexus.
Yes... we frequently avoid implementing mechanics because we're lazy. As mentioned elsewhere there will be spells that you can properly shoot, giving us a huge amount of potential variety with all the mechanics we have for guns. Just waiting on a tech task (and trust me, those guys aren't lazy - there's just a huge amount of work to do).
