You don't have to be in a War Party to get in, you just need to hit the Hives button from the World Map and it will attempt to look for other players (who may or may not be in War Parties) to start an instance with.
Doubling the burst duration is exactly what's in the hotfix! As for the rest, yeah there are some issues now with the lock-on that we're looking into. Thanks for the write-up, I'm sending it to Alexis!
The defense bash creates a relatively short stagger window, not long enough for the power fist to punish the target. However, if you're trying to counter a fast attack from a power sword with your fist, just do fast attacks. You should be able to break their weapon quickly and then they'll have a long stagger that you can really punish them in. That's the intention at least, let us know if you experience it differently.
The Heavy Bolter has an issue where the server thinks you have much worse accuracy than your client does. So it may look like it takes a million bullets to kill anything, but actually as far as the server knows most of your shots are missing. This is a top priority issue for us!
It's more the Scatter Laser than the Pulse Laser. We just want to make sure that they both feel useful in different situations.
Yep, that's why we made sure to do a next-day hotfix on that gun. The build cycle is actually ~24 hours including prepping, making the build, and then doing some quick testing so we didn't think it was worth delaying the rest of the patch over this one weapon - we just put a fix into the cycle ASAP. Obviously things will be quite different after launch when people have permanent progression & whatnot.
The servoskulls are getting tracking so you actually can see them on the map, know which ones you've already used, etc. However, I don't actually expect people to read all the tutorials the first time they go to the Garrison. I'd like them to be able to come back to the Garrison after a few matches to test things out and then learn (or actually absorb) new things.
