You're comparing apple and orange here. Technically the ammo, hp, comsumables milking ends the moment the vehicle is destroyed, that makes destroying enemy's trasport important. However, if you're allowed to get repair kits from vehicle, then you can keep it alive forever, thus further encouraging the cheesy tactic.
@DJPenguin @ShoulderMount look! @EvLTimE is trying to steal your Throne for worste Driver in EC. You also watch out Brent
Is there any plan to make the eldar protect power work like the nurgle AoE heal, where it only use warp charges when it's is actually reducing damage from hits not as soon as you start casting .
Yeah actually I should be more diligent about making sure my work gets into the patch notes. I've been doing a lot of stuff without an associated task and then it ends up as a stealth fix. I's one-uh dem Kommando boyz.
Kommando *Nobz confirmed for launch! Would it be hard to make a Speshul Shoota (shotgun), give it to the Slugga Lad (he keeps the Choppa), make said lad a bit larger (it is a Nob after all) and more tough, and give him the Striking Scorpions stealth mechanic, then slap on an "Elite" tag and call it a day?
@BrentEllison im pretty sure people have flooded your inbox with PowerFist OP, but I'm actually more concerned about the inability to escape melee so they can return to it on their own terms. It's not just the 1 hitting that's annoying, it's the fact that a higher teir weapon can just endlessly pursue a lower teir one and bash the durability out if it with attack spam. I know you put in durability to prevent light weapons from spamming out heavier/slower ones, but I'm thinking that the balance has now gone the other way without requiring any thought or skill for the higher end weapons. Which is just another reason why SMs shoulder bash / sprint and lunge type was so critical in rounding out melee. This is also where a free camera was vital because then you could see what the enemy was doing as you ran away from them. Now, with my camera locked I can only blindly get out if combat with an Eldar who's durability only goes to T2. I've been blind sided by PFs and Axes while fleeing because: A. I can't open open up a large enough window for my escape. B. I can't see the oncoming attack in order to deal with it. It's hard to judge since I love the fact that clangs and stuns have been reduced, but maybe Dbash or Sprint attack could have an interrupt period where the target can still function normally, but just can't sprint and/or lunge attack in order to pursue or.... something. Idk, really anything other than the normal, "Ok, well this guy has a weapon 2-3 teirs higher than me, I better spam Dbash and play defensively because if I don't my durability is toast and I'm going to get stunlocked..."As an Eldar it's vital that players have the ability to escape melee if they play their cards right. I'm finding that while the JPA can fly in and out of melee with ease, an Eldar, even with a speed boost, can't get an enemy off if them once they've locked on.
