    eldar movement and accuracy without aim assist is pretty nice now (aim assist usage go back to med-long range engagement)
    SM boltgun with mod accuracy on movement is weaker then eldar but is nice too
    just playing on server seems in this time people forgot this is a shooter after all so must need to move in warzone is healthier and a bit more autentic ? :) but whoa dream patch orks can be built very tanky and pain boy poison dmg hurts :)

  2. I like a lot actually that they are inaccurate in close range! I really do! But at the same time if we just buff a bit more the damage we could get the most lore efficient weapon. Or maybe just moar fire rate. :)

    Don't know if this is intended, but Hormagaunts are giving 0XP right now.

    Termagaunts are still giving their usual XP and the Headshot and Streak bonuses will work fine with both.
  4. Melee seems to be a step forwards. Not quite as stable as patch 16 melee, but a step forward none the less.

    Great job on this patch!

    I was expecting the Tzeentch heal, but the Mark will do for now... oh and the fix on the flickering fire warp charges is really appreciated =)

    I'd love to play more, but there a really really annoying sound bug.
    Like when I'm halfway in match all the sounds on the map reproduce like they are on my character.

    I mean ALL the gun sounds.

    So when I'm all alone and running to the objective I start hearing the sound of heavy bolter firing, sword clangs, reload and more gun fire as if it's my character doing it.
    It's way too loud and almost impossible to play with sound, I have to turn off the headphones O_O

    Don't know if it's a known bug, but it makes the whole match unplayable.

    TTK on paper with current values used vs SM/CSM with no additional survivability wargear.

    This excludes the 1 second delay to go from a resting stance to firing the first shot.
    The TTK ranges from 0.6 - 0.7 seconds. 1.6 - 1.7 seconds if you include the above delay.

    Yes, they're faster than Boltguns if you're already aiming down sight, but not from a resting position. If the two were on par with each other it would be difficult to secure an area as an at-the-ready Devastator-equivalent character; the first Boltgun wielder that exchanges fire with you would kill or bring you to near death.

    The intention is not to have their TTKs faster than any standard shooter; so as for that:

    Battlefield 4 - TTK for it's machine guns ranges from 0.279 - 0.408 seconds.

    CoD:Ghosts - LSAT TTK is 0.15 seconds.

    (And by all means compare the Boltgun's 1.44 second TTK against similar weapons using any of the following resources; it has a BTK of 9).

Afraid not, as i said iam not 100% sure but orcs definatly feel weaker than eldar and by quite some margin(as someone who fights both), heres the thing either hit detection is glitching out and the client side hit markers are lying to me(possible by the way and likely with a fast moving target) or eldar are not weak enough to justify there speed, small profile and Damage advantage.

    Damage out put of the eldar iam fairly certain is currently superior to that of the marines let alone the orks, if you find your stuggling with eldar weapons i would suggest using things like the shuriken luancher and twin link version both weapons perform better in close range as they have significantly less effective range than bolters and are really powerfull up close.

  8. @BrentEllison , haven't noticed many bugs tonight because I've been playing LSM, however:

    Still not a lot of melee hit feedback - know that y'all are working on this.

    Apparent bug: if the Predator AC clips into an Ork vehicle, it WILL NOT fire.
  9. I'm getting these as well. Out all alone in no man's land and hear random weapon sounds like they're 2 inches from my helmet.


    I can't see the Orks winding up the Dbash at all. In fact I cant tell what any of them are doing for the most part because all their movement animations seem the same. Especially since they have the brass knuckles instead of a knife. One second they're standing there hands at side, the next millisecond I've been bashed, never see the wind up or even the bash animation, with circle around my head.

    Out of curiosity are we supposed to be seeing circle over ENEMY'S head when we successfully bash them? It's kind of obvious to me I'm bashed because I have no control. I'd much rather know if I've successfully bashed my opponent.

    As far as feedback I agree. I see sparks, and occasionally blood when I'm attacking. That's about it. A vastly different sound and different colored sparks when we're clanging versus landing a blow would be wonderful. The Chain weapons have a VERY distinct CRUNCH when we land a blow that does damage. ALL weapons need that distinct CRUNCH when we are taking health from an enemy with a melee weapon.

    Like you said, the Shuriken Catapult and its Twin-Linked variant are balanced (while in ADS) to kill faster than a Boltgun at shorter ranges (before the opposite becomes true due to a combination of falloff and accuracy as the distance tends towards 30 metres and beyond).
