how is calculated the "10% damage reduction"? the damage is reduced before or after toughness? also ailiments are affected?
At everyone, I would ask you this simple question : How the hell a Raptor/JPA can prefer use their ranged weapon instead of their melee weapon ?? I played a part of this morning and several match this afternoon, playing LSM / CSM. I made the same constatation. Clang system seems to be ... not there? Or there are problem with the different tier weapon / collision mechanic (i read somewhere it has been implemented) How can a power maul cannot break the guard of a tactical knife after 2 evades attack and 1 charged attack ? And no, i wasn't lagging. Latency was around 30-40. No TP, no instant action. Also, i have some trouble about melee lunge. I received a hit even if my enemy is still 3-4 meter away. Happens many many times. D.Bash ? Does it stun ? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. The stagger doesn't seems to apply after the kick hit the target. Smart Pistol Bolter lock on seems again lost in the warp. The mechanic have difficulties to catch your enemy, follow your target and choose sometimes the farthest guy instead of the closest one (had the case on the corridor about A point Maggon Station). For the nerf JPA, regen feel to me too slow and need it to be slightly up.
Wow, it really did not take long for all the cheese boys to find a replacement for their Power Fist. @BrentEllison Please take a look at the Heavy Bolter. I would bet that the numbers show the typical increase, just like when MoN was too strong. The combination of range, accuracy and damage is insane at the moment. I got sniped from Heavy Bolters. And about the wind up time... That's a joke. It happened so often that I got the first hits on the HB and he had time to turn around and kill me. And when it comes to "he had time to set up"... well, with the range, accuracy and damage they got at the moment, they can just set up everywhere! On a sidenote: The Autocanon is also sniping the shit out of me. Don't get me wrong here, I have been here already, when the Heavy Weapons were useless, besides the PC. There is only a dbash setup for keyboard and not for a gamepad;nor is there an option to reassign the button layout on a gamepad. Will this be impleted soon or much later?
Have the devs any plans for Mandiblasters? They are really iconic part of Striking Scorpion's wargear, and them not having them is akin to Banshees not having their Scream.
9. Will the Striking Scorpion have the Mandiblasters? BRENT: Yes, although they might not be able to use them initially. 10. How will the Striking Scorpion's mandi blaster work? Will it be more of a active weapon working exactly like the boltpistol, doing direct damage, or will it work like a passive distracting weapon staggering the opponent? Could it be used while attacking with the melee weapon, since it doesn't need a free hand? Cannot answer right now
