"This isn't about glory. It's about survival. Searching specifically for glory is a fool's errand, especially now."
He avoided further arguments so the briefing wouldn't stray to bickering.

If glares were daggers, Jakora would have slew Daruk where he stood given the look she gave him. Her two claw limbs also made her feelings apparent as they raised their middle digits at the Wessari, making it clear her deeply angered and somewhat disgusted nature over his barb being nothing more than a test about Starlens being ferocious.

Ash'lima then sighed with her arms and claw limbs folding across each other as she waited for this mess of a briefing to end, even if she gave a slight nod towards Cero's comment about survival being more important than glory.... Not that she trusted him to practice what he preached.

As the discussion heated, Nazara though of the power she just felt. She was no stranger to psionic abilities, but this was her first connection on a mental plane with another being. The fine sensing devices fashion into fine hairs on the back of her bio-synthetic skin, prickled soflty as waves of mental energy surged within her cortex, translating complicated brain-waves into syllabells and sounds!

She risked a moment longer to appreciate the connection, marring the experience though subjective perspective before continuing the conversation. Bickering broke out the briefing, and tempers were already flaring if Rukian`s act of physical venting was any indicator. For a moment, Nazara was surprised at such loud outbursts but then again, it was all quite reasonable and unecessary.

With the implications of war-profiterring and blatant opportunism hanging in the air, she cocked her head at the forgotten Ensign in all of this:

"Ensign Ilianto when are we suppose to report to the Taurus?"

  4. The Ensign seemed to shrink as the Lieutenants began arguing amongst themselves for no reason he was aware of. After things calmed down the Morian seemed to pop back into existence looking just as nervous as before. He had a tablet like device in his hands now, where exactly he had gotten it was anyone’s guess. He cleared his throat and spoke to answer the questions. “The uh majority of the fleet will be made of ships donated from the Wessar Hegemony and Korin Cosmo League respectively. Though there are some ships from the Othari Order and Ruk council and the majority of small craft have been manufactured using the hub ships of the Synchronized Collective. Oh as for more specialized forces the remnants of the Starlen Navy will also be coming of course. I-I guess there will be a little bit of everything coming along, the manifest even shows a contingent of Auger mining vessels given ftl capabilities…” They put the tablet in front of their face with their large nose peeking over the top.

After a brief pause most likely taking the time to remember other questions they spoke up yet again. “The fleet’s first mission is the liberation of Yarval’s Folly, a former Starlen outpost world which was taken by the cloud five standard months ago before the Grav Furnaces were activated. The conditions on the planet are mostly unknown at the moment but survivors are expected given the relatively short time spent in the cloud.” They took some time to breath before moving onto the next question they could remember. “The equipment and vehicles have been supplied from a variety of sources but as said our biggest supplier of small voidcraft is the Synchronized Collective. Infantry weapons and in atmosphere vehicles are more varied as we have received volunteers from several empires with Starlen Legionaries making up our most experienced troops. As for experimental weaponry I was not informed of anything regarding that.”

The Ensign turned to Nazara with the final question. “According to the schedule you are to be shipped off to Theta fleet shortly after this meeting. The travel time is projected to be a standard week using wormhole gates. If there aren’t any other questions you may head to hanger DT-712 and board the transport.”

Listening to what the Ensign had to say about the Fleet, Jakora gave a satisfied nod over being given enough information about Theta fleet's composition including the fact that whatever was left of the Starlen Imperial Navy would be taking part in the venture, the location of their first destination and all the other information that was given about the fleet and it's forces.

So the Royal Guard said to everyone else in the room ( @Wata , @Vulpas , @High_Adept_Zeth , @Kalle @SpaceHulk ) "Well, looks like we've got a schedule to keep to then. I'll see you all on the transport, provided you don't manage to get lost!" as she left the room and made her way to the hanger to finally get going on the mission.

Cero gave Jakora a neutral glare while leaving quickly leaving for the hangar. Halfway there, he put on his helmet and stretched his neck.
Once at the hangar, he boarded the transport. He received a few messages from back home, from his concubines and friends whom he missed already. He discreetly looked through them on his device and stashed it, mentally preparing himself for whatever is to come.

With a nod and a Federation salute to the Ensign, Nazara departed the briefing room. There was no anxiety, no frustration and for a moment she wondered what her fellow Lieutenants felt like. Strong emotions were evident but also a will to cooperate. They know what is at stake, and Jakora especially. No wonder her emotional connection, considering her records.

Boarding a designated trasport stationed on hangar DT- 712, she waited for the others to arrive, only too late noting that she shook her leg while stitting in the grav-couch. With a smirk she noted manifested impatience and eagerness to join the fleet.

Before departing from the briefing room, Daruk stepped over to the Morian ensign and took hold of his shoulder. "Well done, Ensign," he confided in him, while the rest of the Lieutenants filed out. "You handled yourself well in a tense room," he supplied, in case the Morian somehow doubted his achievement. "If you keep this up, you may earn yourself a place on the homeworld when you retire, or even a command before then. Just remember to be on the lookout for the opportunities," he reminded him, giving him a jovial pat on the shoulder, before he released him. "Now, I've a shuttle to catch," he said, and left him there.

Daruk entered the transport and cast a look about the other lieutenants. "Our mission begins today, and once this transport takes off we are brothers and sisters in a struggle," the Wessari lieutenant reminded them all. "That is all," he concluded, before he seated himself by the Ruk.

Habevi struggled to get up from his chair due to all the envy equipment. He gave Ensign an unnerving stare before leaving the room. He hated the lack of confidence he had, it reminded him of time as an Overseer aboard the mining station and how much he despised his subordinates due to the lack of confidence. He made his way towards the correct transport and and sat down not looking at anyone.

"Interesting group we will be with." Joris said as the light of the AI winked out and seem to shoot back into his shoot, Geting back on his legs after sitting down Baron got up slowly getting two legs up at time before evening out weight and began moving after most of the other lieutenants left. Before he left he asked the Ensign only one question. "Ensign have there been estimates of our success and loss statics estimation on the possible loses we may take from our forces from the stelarans?" Baron asked wanting to know what the lost rate maybe for there living warriors and miltiary forces.

After his question would be answer he would silently walk back all the time thinking Joris would be talking into his head talking about the possibility they would face and the impressions the others had on them. With A good chunk of there forces being from the Korins and another race there would be some similarity in fighting with allied forces that were sure to come. As Baron arrived on the ship that would be taking him to the augur ship Taraturs.

A thought came to him as he sat down on the ship. "Joris can you prepare a greeting message for theta fleet Command and research staff and generals of Theta fleet as a hand shake message, Also could you try to pull up any history on any of the Forces from the cosmo league that will be joining us, Knowing who they maybe maybe value for us and the Expedition as well as making working with and under them easier." Baron said to Joirs, Joris flashed a light as a reply and began making the message and looking into rosters of who was from the cosmo league along with who they maybe. Baron began to relax as he waited letting his mind wonder off and his one flesh eye closed his mind and thoughts on the digital realm with various programs he had mianture simulations in his head would begin playing out and him in them stragizing how to beat them and how to complete there objectives quickly.
