Thitos was in marching speed. Ungvar generally had a bad time keeping up with most other species due to their height, so he would not be able to catch up to his future colleagues if he didn't keep the pace. At a decent speed, he moved through the endless corridors of the starlen colony shop. His breathing was steady, he could hear the quiet noises his power suit was making, relieving his muscles so he could move at a speed that usually would make him at least break into sweat.
After a short while A notification popped up in the corner of his sight. The Command Interface signalled friendly Forces ahead.

    There you are.

They had probably already heard his footsteps.
Just as a precaution, he pinged them via communications so they knew he was coming and not hostile. You never know how on edge other units are.

Cero kept his peace, he had made it abundantly clear how much he despises slavery earlier. He was murmuring a poem of focus in Rukian under his breath as they moved forward. Swordspear he held close to the blade in right hand, the haft pointing upward tucked close to his arm, blade downward.

His hand kept clenching and relaxing the grip on his spear. Thunderhunter's instincts were ready and eager, body a weapon finely crafted for war well maintained and deadly. All controlled by his mind, sharpened by meditation and pure - born with - determination.
He was calm, on the surface at ease but his inner self was tense. Like a predator waiting for the prey to pounce on or a calm before the storm. The suit he wore popped up a reading of his heartbeat onto his helmet HUD, his pulse was higher than normal for this situation. It showed a small icon next to it that the information was logged for later viewing by Four Wisdoms medical experts.

His HUD got a notification of a friendly approaching, so he turned to take a look.
"Another warrior come to carve out a legend for himself? All of us together make a grand dish for the ravenous masses of horror waiting for us."

Moving further down into the bottom of the colony ship with the others, Habevi found that the loud whirling noises the machinery gave him no small amount a small amount of remembrance of his time at work back at the mining station he was originally working at. Although ignoring the nostalgia, he did find some satisfaction and mild comfort as he was used to it after all.

@Casavay "Do not be stupid. The slave races that once worked here are obviously long dead or turned, no creature of such low standard would of survived this outbreak." He spoke in a hushed tone so not to attract any unwanted attention from the current threat at hand.

"Yes, slaves count as survivors. And odds are they're going to be around, or else I'll have some... Questions that the colonists need to answer." Jakora coldly said (@Casavay , @SpaceHulk ), her gaze (sans weapon) very firmly locked upon the Auger, as her armor took on a slight reddish-tinge tempered with ice-blue edging as the connected machine reacted to the temper of it's wearer.

Suffice to say, the implication that the Imperium would abandon any member, no matter how lowly they were was somewhat provocative for the Starlen, as if her tone or changing armor hadn't already given that away. However, she was well aware that there were those that failed to practice what they preached, and that slaves were expendable in there nature. It still didn't justify callously leaving slaves to an uncertain fate.

However, her attention was soon distracted by the icon ping and the footsteps, to which the Royal Guard commented "Or another poor soul that stands ready to behold the Morphos." Still, her grip on her rifle didn't falter, for she wasn't willing to become a pointless martyr for the Federation or an unfortunate casualty of war. Instead, she planned to see this through to the end, for herself and the Empire.

"The downtrodden can be hardy, and it's a curious way to label slaves as not expendable. Or people." Vaadh underlined her casual observation with a shrug, not fully understanding the emotionality of the given responses. Once the ping was pointed out, she listened intently, inclining her head as she did. "Or a morphos trickster trying to ambush us."
  6. Shay looked upon all this with slight disdain drawing her blade and holding at low guard as she worked through the tight corridors her blade burning red hot and illuminating one side of her battle mask.
"i don't like this, it's too clean. there should have been more defences, more fighting to defend such precious commodities as slaves...

The power armoured individual was relatively easy to reach, and once The Dragoon's comm system had given an order towards his new objective, he complied almost immediately - hopping out of the fabled Interceptor and making their way to.. Well, wherever it was that they were told to go! Their heavy weight was obvious with each footfall, 'thudding' upon the metal floor time and time again as they walked proudly. Even if the servo-suit itself was stiff as any exoskeleton may be, even in this their confidence was without doubt; chest held high, their shoulders broad and their arms lightly swinging at their sides to emphasize their movements.

At seeing the ensign, the T-shaped, knightly helm turning downwards to stare him in the face; while certainly not judgemental, with someone so tall it was easy to mistake it for such. No words were given yet of course, now simply listening to his speech. Such a mission surely would be of interest, they thought.

"If we are to go in; is this a mission that requires simply flying nearby and initiating scans, and delivering intel back? Or are we to physically enter? The answer shall depend on what equipment I shall demand and require." they said bluntly, and somewhat loudly; the comms boosted their voice threefold, mere casual comments turning to prideful boasts that could dominate any conversation. Even with that, their already prideful nature made this seem as they were perhaps arrogant to a point; but all the same, they still asked and spoke.
  8. Novi hisses in an annoyed tone as she walks down the path.
"Slaves, the very concept sickens me."
    She shakes her head.
"A show of no pride in work and no pride in your own species or others. To make others do what you would have to do, often against their will... sickening"
Novi' top right arm reaches out, stroking a clawed finger against the wall
"I wonder what this mass is. I have my assumptions, but no reason to make an early judgement"

Baron would find the air tanks in the kit empty probably having been used during the initial infection of the ship. As the group then moved on they would feel the surrounding air grow warmer, uncomfortably so. The humidity would also rise considerably making the Lieutenant’s clothing stick to them and their skin itch. A foul smell also made its way into the air as well, the only real way of describing it was death.

It was by the time Thitos had catched up with the group that they would find the source of these irritating elements. Opening a previously sealed door they would see that the hallway was encrusted with a red moss. Steam also poured out as well explaining the humidity and heat they were feeling. Jakora would know this substance as bloodmoss and it has been growing inside one of the ship’s water treatment facilities. The entire hallway was covered in it with no metal being seen.

The exact properties of the substance wasn’t known but tests by the former Starlen Empire concluded that it was made of plant matter infected by the Morphos Virus. Not to mention that to live it require a large amount of moisture which is likely why there was so little of it on the planet’s surface.

The Ensign jumped at the sudden loud question from the larger Lieutenant, the tablet shaking in their hands. “Duhh umm uhh…” They said nervously as they tried to collect their thoughts with the much more intimidating Dragoon looking down at them. “Y-y-you are to go into the station Sir. We will have ships taking fly by scans to assist you as you explore the station.” The Ensign cowered before the larger Lieutenant as yet another one entered the hanger. A human who goes by the title of Herald.

Barons craned his head as the door was unsealed, his Laser axe was out the hum and orange glow it gave off help illuminated the hall as he looked down it his cybernetics scanning the blood moss and seeing it. "Growths, A purge team will likely be needed to help sanitize this area." Baron said dryly as he kept his axe ready, His own scans would be for anything out of the ordinary as they would move forth further into the ship.
