Future of Eternal Crusade

I can't say Eldar are really OP, the consistent flight is annoying sure but understandable, only thing I can argue is broken for 'em is the crazy physics on the vehicles.
Honestly my main beef are the P2W Marines, 4 P2W cannons and a Mage make pushing locations just obsurd especially with the inconsistencies in the game (but those are reasonable early access facts, the game has bugs it happens).
I always wonder about why LSM don't have Librarians, I've heard they are supposed to be rare, but I've heard the counter that the Chaos mages are supposed to be too.

My guess is "Rare" units like Librarians are just going to be a P2W factor Behavior is most likely going to go to.

    Not sure if serious or...

Come on, man. That one was pretty obvious, even for you.
  4. IRC, the new Elite units will simply have 2 skins. One is for the standard version you earn in the game and the RTC version is for a cooler looking skin.

P2W? I've invested over $350 in this game and feel like a loser.

How's this @Strelok9080 (shameless self plug begins)

That gives a couple of different views on what the factions have loadout wise. But let's go over what you specifically talked about.

Or is it going to follow it's path towards an unbalanced Pay 2 Play + Pay 2 Win?
You buy the game once, you can play all new maps, advancements, and fight all enemies. New factions will require you to pay to play as. Not a lot of pay to win, but we'll talk about that later. What I will say is we're still expecting the ability to earn RTC in game, so you won't always have to spend real money to access those items (@Nimrock swoops in and tears me apart here, and I can't argue against him really, he's got valid points).

The announcement of "Elite classes" definitely sounds like a lazy ploy to turn this game to P2W. Not to mention the lack of Racial balance.
As far as I know the elites are intended to be "veterans with flavour." You're getting special characteristics to try and swing the match as it were. The RTS elite skins are meant to obtainable mechanically by in game means, and are skins.

Eldar - get high tech gear and insta roadkill Highspeed vehicles
I flatout agree, the eldar roadkills are crap. I think they should remove the hit detection, but you can deal with. Stick to cover, don't go out on roads, just like if a predator is parked in LoS. I don't know what the high tech gear is? Most everything seems fairly balanced, flight has limits, stealth isn't perfect, and meltabomb bundles are expensive. Bring up examples and I'm sure someone will be happy to tell you ways to counter it.

Chaos- get P2W autocannon, magic, near-infinite range magic powers
Fun fact, the regular autocannon part of Abaddon's Grace is what's making those kills, not the DoT. It recently saw a nerf, maybe it will see another. The magic is kind of what they do, but anyone who's used it knows it's not great. Try it out, you'll see it's not all powerful.

LSM - get Special Melee weapons but lacks advanced Ranged weaponry
I... don't know what special weapon you mean? The stormshield? Uniques? LSM is the ranged faction, you have the stalker options, the grav weapons, and mods for your ranged weapons that CSM don't have (or Eldar/Orks for their counterparts).

Orks - Get Poison ranged weapons, APC gun that damages Vehicle (I think could be wrong), Waagh! (Can be a double edged sword when they have tickets)
One poison ranged weapon, on the painboy, who can only take offensively a pistol, knife, and DoT grenade. Granted it's all poison, but the pistol DoT has a lower stack then melee, so it's not the death sentence you see there. Trukks do damage vehicles, kind of a lore thing. And yes, Waagh! is a double edged sword, and also a very powerful tool, no lies. It comes at the cost of no downed state, so waves come faster, but the hordes are actually easier to kill (because they can't revive themselves).

This is nitpicking and I know, but can you put line breaks in between the ends of paragraphs and the bolded parts? It feels weird to read the way it is.

Edit: since you went and did that, thank you.

Excuse me, but the only thing orkz have had buffed since launch are their cosmetic options.
