We Tank-kin are a proud and noble people. As soon as the bigoted gov'mint legalizes (and subsidizes wit dat tax monies) surgically installing battlecannons into your torso you shall pay for this slight against my people. I'm a strong independent M1 Abrams and I don't need no sass.

I wouldn't know. I base my Abrams knowledge on facts. It's a 1970/80's Tank. When the British moved from Challenger to the 95% redesigned Challenger 2, with the 2nd Generation of Composite Armour, the Abrams got an upgrade to its 1st Gen Composite Armour including an extra layer of DU and steel plate armour. Even though the C2 was out as much as the Abrams only one C2 was destroyed, and one was immobilised in Iraq from the outbreak of the 2nd Gulf War up until the withdrawal of allied forces, during the same period over 500 Abrams were shipped back to the US for repair. There are technologies that are now standard on current MBTs, like Hydro-Pneumatic suspension, that Abrams will only receive as part of the M1 A3 upgrade. The Challenger 2 is not a modern tank as it dates from the late 80's or early 90's. More recently developed tanks have better engines, lighter bodies, better computer systems, better sensors, etc. The only things the C2 has going for it is its durability due to its armour, its rifled main gun, and its battle-proven record.
