Still watching the trees Jack follows the rest of the group deeper into the forest, while the unevenness of the undergrowth was a source of great annoyance to navigate the difficult terrain at best only seemed to slow down the squads progress. Jack took out his combat knife to hack his way past a jutting branch blocking his path essentially severing it from the nearby tree with some quick sawing through the stem, he re holstered the knife ready for it to be used again.
