It has a clear advantage, I have died many times after getting to cover due to the Abaddons Grace fire proc. Sure its only some times but that is a clear cut advantage.
You didnt fund the game to get a power advantage, You fund it to get the game you want and stand out with rewards. Atleast I hope thats the case... Again, The fact the advantage is only a small one does not make it okay. "Sorry sir, The new car you bought has a flat tire. Its not an insurmountable problem but you have to deal with it"
What other evidence do you want? Stat comparison? I can fetch those. Not cherry picking comments, I am picking ones that are recent when I get to the computer. The fact that only people who seem to think the clear cut advantage and upgrade over the standard weapon is acceptable are those who founded the game. However this is expected since you know, They have it and believe they have some right to it. Would be perfectly reasonable to add a negative to it so that when ammunition mods come in they can create the same weapon. Currently there is no reason at all to use the standard version over the RTC version since it is just a flat upgrade with the ability to finish people off after they escape your line of sight.
Except you ignored the HUGE disadvantage there is to using it. It fires tracer rounds that show EXACTLY where you are. It is a much larger disadvantage than the unnoticeable damage increase.
Feel we are not connecting here dude, will try logic Premise is paying for something to win If advantage is big you always win / pay to win equals true If advantage is small you don't always win / pay to win equals false So how can pay to win equal true if the advantage I get is not big enough to make sure I will win? Should this thread actually be titled Pay for tiny advantage? (PATA I suppose as an abbreviation)
I do not own AG. The minuscule fire damage on it isn't worth the extra LP that it costs to equip it, much less pay actual money for it. It used to be stronger, now it's not. I also feel in the case of your 'i made it around cover and died' falls under the netcode issues this game has where you just die from shit anyways 'but you were around corners'.
To be fair the devaluing of the terminology does irritate me a little bit, it use to be that if a game was pay to win (as I understood it) then without paying you were literally fucked and there was no point as you were missing stuff that was required for end game play as an example or the bonus' available made another players attributes so much higher than your own Now it seems to mean something else
