Didn't intend to offend but i have a fair few mates who have also found out about EC from word of mouth (from me ) but do not have the funds to buy the founders pack as of yet or a just waiting to see what bE has in store for founders a few months down the track. I just thought it would be a good place to direct them once they decide to purchase because i have only one ref code but have several friends wanting to get in on the fun that is EC.
there's no limit on how often your ref code can be used. All of your friends can use the same code. But I would not mind if you pass them on to me. -hehe- =P Edit: Also make sure they Create an account using the ref code. As if they buy a pack on an account that wasn't made using a ref code it wont work.
yes i get banned from 4chan for a referral link (but i'm pretty sure at least 2-3 people used it) yes place like 4chan and reddit are bad place for spamming ref: in particolar avoid at all cost "stealth" link and youtube video "plz use my referral" unless you have big boobs, in that case work. the same for raptr. everybody hate referral link popping on their site a good place for a referral link is the signature and social network. also the referral link don't work with already created forum account. it's harder and harder to find someone that use a referral link, the firsts days of the founders was ok but now is almost impossible (atleast until the first module release). yes, people that don't partecipate from the start in the forum discover the game later and only click a referral link have 4$ extra
Yup, this referral busyness works well on paper, but not in practice. Especially cause all the big convergence places for people online dont allow people sharing it. I guess something like Facebook or something could work but thats a big shot in the dark for someone interested to even notice it, if you had friends interested you would simply ask them. Peoples hands are tied honestly.
Thanks mate, yea of course thats why i posted my ref code because i have several friends i thought i would be good to share the love and have them use the others ref codes that have been posted ato help out the community instead of just use my for all of them to be referred from.
Dear Crusader, 2 things: 1-so far a total of 10% of ALL our founders came from YOUR reference. Thank YOU. so it works very well. that is 10% less to spend in marketing to get them thus more for the project ''nice2have''. 2-I have never tried in the past (as a gamer) to post ref code in forums but you are letting me know that most forum are NOT allowing this. My assumption is because of the same reason I am ''asking'' you not to do it and instead send your REF to your FRIENDS email that do not know us. That is the best way you are helping us and your project. You know Crusader, especially those who have been with us since last year. Our decision of No Marketing firewall between devs and fan and our MOTTO of BeTrue. BeFair, BeTransparent is made to be a win-win between us (devs) and YOU (fans). It comes at a cost for us in terms of effort and time to embed you all in most of our important decision BUT the closer to launch the MORE responsibility YOU will have in that win-win relationship. That is an exemple RIGHT NOW of what I mean. I have explained to you the objective for our Reference Program is to help the GAME first, not each individual.... I see you as partners AND client. That is what our philosophy wants to create. I have decided to TRUST you and our general community the same way our founders TRUST us that we will make an awesome game. Like I said win-win I will speak with Houman so we can ask the MOD to be lenient but STILL I am ASKING you (not ordering) NOT to use the forum to recruit but to use your friends instead since its the objective. Thanks and once again no offence intended i just thought this thread was a good idea just trying to do a solid for both BE by introducing more crusaders (my good mates) to the game and the members of the community. I was not aware that my ref code could be used multiple times as of this morning (living in Aus) but i am well aware now. Again thank you for the heads up btw i just cant get it around my head how involved with the community BE is.
