So apparently when doing the fortress vs eldar they can get their tanks into the spawn. Which of course makes for such a fun time though I guess they need every advantage they can get.
eh you were probably in the same match I was, just fucking obst and ggsm using exploits, trust me on the eldar side we weren't happy about that shit either.
Same shit, different day and different map. It's on the "to do" list, which will get done 6 months from now. We've been pointing out this problem since Eldar vehicles first went live a few months ago. Granted Eldar vehicles havent been around long, but long enough to find ways to stop this from happening. Its a total game changer getting a mobile spawn in areas where they're not supposed to be. Rooting them out and destroying becomes extremely difficult due to limited maneuverability(getting to them) and the turret atop the vehicle. I think the main issue is the fact that BHVR doesnt see it as a priority or it would have already been fixed. They have failed to realize it's this type of bullshit combined with all the other ways Eldar are outperforming other factions, the "total package" that currently has them on the "do not accept que" list for most players.
It only sounds OP until you realize the driver can't see gak and ramming people kills friends as well as foes. You ever been rammed by a friendly tank while trying to capture or decapture an objective? I don't normally accuse people of the haxors, but I admittedly was thinking of it when I first saw it happen.
And there are still people defending boycotting Eldar games with this kind of game breaking bug and game breaking imbalance going around.
I briefly thought about not playing against Eldar, but it would really be unfair to the people who don't exploit or try to play as fairly as their overbalanced faction allows. Plus, it's fun to struggle against a hard foe...makes it that much better when you win.
