ever since i started playing the game i found fortress assault maps to be not as epic as i wanted then to be just defending 2 points (or the only one that matters) its kinda lame so i would love it if they were to add secondary objectives for the defenders to defend and the attackers to attack my idea would be having extra points that are on a short timer if the time runs out the secondary points become locked so that the attackers/defenders cant recap, these points would have positive effects or buffs for the defender/attacker, an example would be that if the defenders fail to defend the radar secondary point that marks enemies close to the fort on the map that the attackers now have the defenders mark on the map, also instead of the game just ending when the time runs out have the defender do a sally out to destroy the attackers the idea here its that the defenders won and reinforcement have arrived giving then unlimited lives while the attackers now have to defend what they have and wait for pick up or lose all lives or points since i have always find it super cool in warhammer novels when the defender charge through their destroy gates to kill the attackers also i would give the attackers a point at there base so that we have cool fire fights on the ruins in front of the fort if they are push out that would be their last leg if they scape the game its a tide (both sides win) since none of the forces destroy each other p.s sorry if bad English
the devs talked about secondary objects and stuff alike month ago. thing is: 2 guys are working on eternal crusade atm with special guests (artists, programmers and so on) from other project from time to time. so ressources are minimal to none. nathan also talked about "systems" regarding maps, but I at least don't know what these "systems" are capable of or if they even exist. to cut it short: Idea is good, but without ressources this is unlikely to happen
