Yeah, truth be told I knew it wouldn't get a warm and fuzzy reception. But, back on topic: there is obviously support for this idea so I'm glad that we have some small way to organize.
If not imperial fists(the reason I'm voting for them is so I can play my pre deathwatch version of my deathwatch character) I would love to see raptors in the vote, having a chapter that uses tacticool range based combat would be cool.
Threw my vote in for Raven Guard but it looks like the Salamanders are going to be the victor which still makes me happy. Will be interesting to see what is being offered in the 5th faction vote, how hilarious would it be for either the Imp. Fists to not even be in the vote or the one we select!
We will have to adjust accordingly in the event that happens. I'm still going to do one more poll with the two winners from the poll you voted on Phelan. The Scars and Iron Hands both had half the votes of the other two. Looks like Raven guard and salamanders are the two favs, with salamanders being slightly favored. After this second poll I plan on handing the reins over to Kilraine once we get the official chapters to vote on.
You started with the vitriol in your Original Post, when you referred to the Imperial Fists as lemon-flavoured Ultramarines. You're trolling (albeit under a coy veneer of innocence) so you can't take the moral high ground. I'm more than just that. I'm a legitimate Imperial Fists player. I have an entirely painted Imperial Fists WH40k Army and have played IF since the mid 90's. This game, as exciting as it is, is only a blip on the radar in my "career" as a 40k hobbyist. I'll play Eternal Crusade when the Imperial Fists Space Marines are available and not a moment before. The thing is, I couldn't care less when that happens. Whether they are the 5th, 6th or (most appropriately) 7th sub faction makes no difference to me. I'm confident that most of the Chapters will be eventually represented. I've already happily put money down on the game regardless and supported it. I'll use my precious free time to play real 40k or Crowfall until the IF are available, if not right away. It just ultimately doesn't matter, which is why this whole thread is silly. It's just your dumbed down, trolling, strawman bs which pissed some people off. And rightly so. Report this post (aka cry to the Mods) all you want. You've already read it and that's what matters.
