No thanks. I'm happy to let things run their course. I don't need to waste time on rallying people online for some kind of polemical anti-X agenda. This is it. Well said. It's not that people don't like them that is the issue. There is a long tradition of Imperial Fists Hate, especially from the Black Library, of all places. They even jokingly acknowledge it here. The issue which caused me to speak up is the blatant misrepresentation/dumbing down of the Chapter vs. others. Like/dislike isn't the issue at all, it's about misrepresentation, as the Ultramarine said.
One thing warhammer taught me is that with warhammer grown men can turn into childs. Happened to me, and i bet it happened with sooooo many people. Everyone has different tastes, it would be a very boring world if we all liked the same stuff. But its normal for people to feel defensive. We all are with the things we like
Me too. I can be very defensive about my legion, when it is misrepresented. But, at the very least, I do not call out, why all other people are so mean. This is exactly what u should expect, when u rush with your own opinion, into the thread, where, most of the people, obviously, wont agree with your opinion . Well, we, on the traitor side, are more used to being a punching bag for library authors, so I dont see much problem in that
like SonOfDorn said, We are not mad or upset that people dont like the Fists, Hell i dont care for them much, what we dont like is when people falsely claim they are lesser then other legions or chapters.
Uhm, I thought the Fists were one of the most badasses legions, they even had an important role in the defense of Terra during the HH
The pedigree of the fists isn't what this thread is about, it's about getting the various folks in this community who would rather have a chapter other then the fists for the fifth subfaction together for the vote. No one is here to besmirch the honor of that chapter or its fans.
