I think if I was going to rank the remaining FF chapters in my personal order of preference it would be: 1) Raven Guard 2) Salamanders (but no flamers confirmed for launch yet so ...well, doesnt seem right) 3) White Scars (still havnt seen a model let alone an animation for a "bike" from the dev team ...sooo) 4) Fists 5) Iron Hands (having a metal hand while wearing a powered suit doesnt seem a huge upgrade to me)
I think it's interesting that we have boiled things down to the two issues that really most affect how we will vote for the subfaction. It comes down to how the subfaction looks and how they fight, or will fight in game. You Imperial Fist fans have little to worry about though, you guys have the votes and your chapter is actually pretty cool, As I see it this is an attempt to give you boys a run for your money, and not anything personal against your chapter of choice. I also don't think stealth is a mechanic that should or will be limited to certain factions and subfactions. Everyone should be able to creep/sneak around, however not every faction and subfaction should be as good at stealth as those known for it. As for the color argument, like ravenclaw said, if the chaos and loyalist depictions are done well in game you should not have to much trouble telling the two apart. I mean seriously, we are playing as space marines here, not playing a game of interior decoration. The beauty of the game is in being able to shoot shit with bolters, not stopping to look at how the paint on our armor matches the pretty flowers in the field. If Arhkona even has flowers... Target identification, obfuscation, and other elements of warfare are all pluses in a realistic depiction of the battlefield. It's only in 40k where advances in armor and super human physiology exist that humanity throws the rules for conducting warfare out the window in favor of brightly colored 8 foot tall super soldiers.
