I'm not sure if it's confirmed on consoles yet. I might be totally wrong there. I know everyone being on the same server is still unconfirmed since they have to deal with Sony and Microsoft.
It is not confirmed for either console yet, only for PC. If sony and MS won't play nice and agree with the cross platform, it isn't going to be on the consoles either, so... really should just plan for PC, but it's still 2 years so, who knows.
If those consoles want to actually succeed in this generation they sorta need..... GAMES... if their companies continue being weird and uncooperative with devs their only hurting themselves... Both consoles are very powerful with Eternal Crusade being a great opportunity to deliver what other consoles cant, a whole MMO experience bringing all players together.
Yes they have the rights to develop the game for pc and consoles but in order to develop the game for the console Sony and Microsoft will have to agree to multiplataform server afaik.
No, they got the rights from GW to produce it for all three, but MS and Sony are still in negotiations. It's been covered in every Q&A and i'm pretty sure it's on the FAQ. So, again, at this point, I wouldn't plan for anything other than computer, the two companies have always balked at such things before, I doubt they'll change now.
I will go on a killing frenzy at both microsoft and sony if they will not allow them to launch this game on their consoles. Seriously.. don't take this from me. I'll leave my GT anyway: Feed The Croc If anyone is gonna get it for PS4, I'll probably be on both consoles. PSN ID: KharnethVIII
I really hope this comes out for the next gen consoles aswell, maybe then I could introduce my friends to the warhammer universe in a way that doesnt seem boring to them.
