Focus Top 5 actionable things you would change about Melee System (NOT Ranged VS Melee)

  1. 1.) Remove it and redo it from the ground up. I'd prefer to have melee fights like in For Honor or even as basic as Mount and Blade, where I can move my character's feet AND swing at the same time, to give you more control. The melee in this game is clunky, and every move feels like a damning death-trap if you happen to dedicate to an attack only to get shot to pieces.

    1) Melee guys have 3 stamina bars as default, they can regenerate stamina when sprinting. Also: buff run/sprint speed for GA archetype.
    2) If range guy wanna use Dbash, he must switch weapon to knife+pistol.
    3) Add more toughness to melee classes.
    4) Make the power fist cost less LP. At this moment it over price for weapon who can't play in RSP as proper(No clangs and heavy attacks).
    5) Reduce LP cost for pistols.

    1. Increase the speed of the Power Fist
    2. Decrease time of the Dbash Animation
    3. Deacrease Buildup Time of the Ground Slam Ability of JPAs
    4. Add a Shoulderbash attack for GAs without Shield that applies a Stun to the Enemies (and make them Run Faster)
    5. Add Two Handed Weapons

    1) to remove the ability to kill with shooting for one dbash
    2) buff, if at a mile with two or more
    3) slightly accelerate fists, axes, maces
    4) increase the damage of melee weapons
    5) repair AIM

    1) Remove D-bash dizzying stun - Instead, it simply interrupts and does damage equivalent to a fast attack.

    2) D-bashing with a ranged class forces a swap to pistol/knife mode: To access a 2h ranged weapon again, a ranged class must manually swap back, requiring an associated ~1s animation time.

    3) Remove all melee wall-clangs and collision with geometry.

    4) Allow more movement during melee windup, and more turning control during swings; vertically extend the hitboxes since players can't aim above or below with melee.

    5) LP costs under everything melee-related, from weapons, to armor, to attachments, are vastly overpriced - reduce it all.

    Power melee weapons should be viable against vehicles again, pre-powerfist levels; Separate/distinguish infantry and vehicular damage.

    Only got one wish really..

    1) Bring back the ability for people with knives to soundly beat those with higher weapon tiers like it was during the initial founders access build. Main culprit here surrounds durability and its relation to blocking quick attacks with the bash which still in one sense "punishes" the defender with a weaker melee weapon at a disadvantage despite selecting the right move.

    Absolutely not. You are a Tactical marine, not an Assault marine, and under no circumstances should you be on even ground with an assault class in melee unless you have mechanical/mental skill great enough to offset the disadvantage of your weapon tier. You are not meant to engage in prolonged melee fights, you are meant to retreat to a more advantageous position, i.e. somewhere that allows you to effectively make use of your ranged weapon and hinders the assault class from effectively using their melee weapon.

    Spoilers could be used to help with readability so that you aren't looking at a wall of text, as opposed to linking to another thread. In fact, an idea would be to have the one sentence roughly summarizing what the change is, and having the detailed explanations in spoilers.
