Flickering Fire - Good on paper, still bad in game

  1. If you cannot use BoC then don't use it - MoT does not force you use Tzeench spells.

Here is situation - 3 or more downed allies and few 2 or more enemies wich spell is better to break battle? BoC can get them all fast - standart need you to heal each one of them, foul needs you stay there and heal them and BoC you can cast and cover or fight.

You can and should hide behined corner while healing standart heal, you need to be near of you team with foul and you need to be present near you team at moment you cast heal.

    That's fallacy.

Sorry but I don't do vids nor do I indent for begin so for this game.

    Wich You asked for lol.
  2. Aright... but why taking Mark of Tzeentch then? I can equip Foul Regen also on more potent marks
Whatever i write goes for the Tzeentchy sorc that uses Mark of Tzeentch and Boon of Change.

That's one of the few times it's usefull yeah. But not when there are still enemys around. With foul, you can heal someone up who acts as a decoy for friends to arrive, and they will have a hard time getting him down, as potent as foul is. If you go BoC them when there are enemys around, they heal until they would get up, and 3 boltshots later they are on the floor again.
YOU yourself as MoT Sorc don't survive long enough to tackle 2 opponents at once. With Nurgle or Slaneesh, possible but hard.

As said, Boon of Change. Doesn't do well with Cover, and if i go Foul Regen, why taking Mark of Tzeentch?

Actually, having played Warlock, I will say the Destructor spell is far deadlier than FF.
  4. You can also take standart heal and benefit from fast armor regen.

Hard with all mark but esiest with BoC because while you healing all enemies have you as target with BoC after cast all your allies who were affected begin to stand - mixing up enemy targets. Nurgle or Slaaneesh in most case you just die before allies healed from down state cause you are only target.

Of course it doesn't - it's purpose to be used in places where you just don't have time to continuously heal your allies right in battlefield for example you cast BoC and cover or fight - your allies getting up and have window to do something else than being hit pinata while tring to heal your ally.

Its more sustainable, but it got 1/3 of a range, the last part makes it useful pretty much exclusively against shieldbros and shield sluggas, anything with at least basic pistol will outDPS your warlock at that distance.

Only if you try to take them head on, and if you strafe properly, you can probably out-dps anybody who isnt using the smart pistol anyway. Flanking is important.

I don't. But if someone flanks my heavies, I can protect them reliably with Lash. Its great for 1v1'ing. That's what I meant.
  8. Asyran Eldritch Arkhona Vanguard

Why is this still a thing?

    A noob perhaps.
Vs anyone with experience, it won't work, because warlock is dead after 4 bolter shots.

Not necessarily, especially not if you flank. Open with a strong melee attack from behind, back pedal, and hit him with destructor. He will not get those four shots off fast enough.
