Had no idea, and it's basically the only heal i use on my sorc. Tried out the spaneesh heal, and it's not a terrible heal, but it's not great either. The heal rate on the primary target is kind of slow, and any secondary targets are barely noticeable. Nice that it debuffs enemies...but eh...i'll stick with the tougher nurgling sorc. Not to mention the LP cost on the slaneesh heal is insane.250 LP??? I get that it has some decent utility, but dammit man.
I have played this game for 1,800 hours over various squad training sessions and I had no bloody clue.
At this point i wouldnt be surprised if the Hysterical Frenzy also gave something beneficial and we were completely clueless.
I wish, cause I run frenzy and lash on my base sorcerer and have to go around practically naked, with the 150 mark tax 250 points is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive. even for an AoE heal+Warp instability.
Lash is actually really, really bloody good if you get used to it. It even does extra headshot damage and goes through shields. ...By the way, the fact that it goes through stormshields is also kind of important, but it doesn't say anything about going through armor or anything of the like.
i thought they said in live stream it was supposed to give a melee damage buff ..... i dont play MoS and its heal but i thought that was at least the intent ...
I remember, the first stream it was mentioned. Brent talked about it increasing melee damage when showing off the first iteration of Hysterical Frenzy to replicate the TT.
Would still be nice to know precisely which video it was, also would be good to ask Brent at one point if its actually a thing that didnt just stay on the words end, cause i was oblivious to the damage mitigation of the Nurgle heal as well until i basically hounded him about adding it and he basically went "its already in". Buffing allied melee while at the same time making enemies engaged with your ally squishier targets, thats quite a bang for your LP buck.
