So this isnt about balance or anything, this is more about awareness and how information is presented to us within the game itself. One simple question, with a simple yes or no answer. Be honest now. Were you aware that the Flesh Circle (Nurgle heal, that PBAoE circle heal you see Sorcerers using) also gave damage mitigation to those affected by it?
This wouldn't be the first time this game hasn't displayed what items actually do, but that attribute isn't in the description:
As always, there are a lot of things that should be on the stats part of the equipment but they are not there.
True, but this goes beyond just adding it into a tooltip, this was more about how both allies and foes are completely oblivious to some things happening ingame cause they arent displayed by proper effects. Take the Apothecaries buffs for example, each of his buff vials bestows a unique visual effect upon the allied target, so both ally and foe alike know what they are dealing with. This cannot be said of things like the Tzeentch heal and its HoT (heal over time) and the Nurgle heal and its damage mitigation, its all colored with the same shade of purple/pink, purple on pink on purple etc. Which is obviously a problem.
And thats the issue, it should be. And it should likewise have its unique non-purple effect ingame to represent this: The fact that its all purple by default is the reason there is this lack of awareness, cause coloring everything with purple/pink makes everyone think its only doing healing.
hmm so a decent reason to use the aoe heal now .. but would love a detailed / more informative tooltip on spells / effects though .. as said this was not on any labeling lol I do prefer the beam due to been out of either ranged LoS or melee but hey ho might have to actually re-build the aoe healer
