Its pretty hard to win a campaign when every game your side starts 5 people down. Now with the inclusion of prizes that would otherwise cost you real money, if you think you have seen bad reviews before, wait a bit. Oh also, people have been talking about jumping on opposing teams and throwing games, and also about jumping on the obviously winning team and just playing 10 games to be included in the free stuff. This whole campaign addition was poorly thought out.
Going to be honest.... when I join a game full of pugs versus a fully stacked team of premade guild shitters I often leave to play PvE.
Starting a match 5 people down would basically not happen if people wouldn't think like "OMG a premade, I'mma leave." Because that's how you get games starting 5-10 people down. Some guilds might be numerous, but they might also not be organised. Hell, they could even try to go for a stupid comps like Full Fire Dragons or Full Storm and Fury (Hint: This doesn't work). Fixing Matchmaking would be wonderful tho.
Groups and randoms shouldn't be in the same queue without group size limits and a strict MM system in place. Way to much room for groups to heavily unbalance games and create low quality matches, and that will make people leave. Randoms can certainly win against a pre-made group, but it requires special circumstances and generally isn't the norm. I'm being brutally honest when i say, currently the only reason to be in a guild from a gameplay standpoint is the potential for seal clubbing. There's no real competitive spirit from Guilds in EC, which is sad, because there's the potential for it.
Yes but the chances of doing so seem to be bloody slim. Or maybe it's just LSM that can't seem to pull it off. My entire experience today as LSM has been, if the enemy team has 4+ guild members We lose.
Done it before as Eldar PuGs. We beat a Lash stack and a PG stack on the same day once. Definitely was a hard fight, but we won. I still have fond memories of seeing a Rhino vomit out an entire squad of PG marines only for the tightly knit group to turn around and stare in shock as a Wave Serpent crashed into them. They didn't even make it 10 meters from the Rhino.
Did a match earlier where we had about a 7+ premade on our side and we lost, 5 of them were at the bottom of the scoreboard so I will agree with this.
