Warp Hunters still use the default Falcon chasis. Nothing wrong with that :) but there are some real beauties at Forgeworld. My favourite - Lynx:

And it even has Iybreasil colours :)

Oh, come on bE! Give the Mahreens their Land Raiders, but let me drive a Heavy Grav Tank :) Pretty please? :)
  4. Personally I love the Hornets over War walkers even if the hornet lacks the 5+ invuln save. As for the Lynx while I find myself a fan of the Scorpion for my super heavy Str D platform of choice currently over a Revenant Titan I use the Lynx with the Sonic Lance over the Pulsar.

i like warwalkers cos it was the only piloted mech we had before the wraithknight came.
the size is just nice like the hawken mechs.

As I'd been a fan of Battletech long before I met 40K, I love mechs too, and I like how the War Walkers look, but to Eldar having them seems strange.. Why have striders, when you have grav-tanks and jetbikes?
Wraithguys are actually large infantry, so it's ok.. and the idea of Wraithknight seems to be kind of too much.. The pilot is in constant trance, where he is interconnected with the spirit of his lost twin and the spirits of the previous pilots, also twins o_0.. Personally I haven't accepted Wraithknight into my vision of the Eldar yet, though he looks pretty nice)))
And you forgot the Titans, they are practically mechs and they are cool))

haven't forgotten about titans. its just that i don't have them or play Apocalypse. but you;re right about warwalkers not fitting into the eldar army. why have legs when i can float? :p
it could be cos is an old design from 1st-2nd ed eldar. (the walking couch)
the time when eldar and humans share alot of same technology. (chainsword, powerfist, lasgun...)

yeah and i dislike the fluff for wraithknight too. =__=

Early Couch Walkers were terrible, indeed =D Maybe it's new design that made them stay, or maybe they are effective)) And it's good that the Eldar have no more power fists))
As for the Wraithknight, I also don't like his size. It's kind of ridiculously large and I'm not sure his size plays out, really. Having a melee weapon of these proportions doesn't look effective, unless he fight something of comparable size. He also should be able to football Dreadnaughts and such stuff easily))

Personally I don't like the War Walkers at all, they don't seem to fit the Eldar aesthetic at all.
Not sure what to think about Wraithknights, I get that they're more or less mini titans, but their design still seems odd. Especially the melee setup. You also can't convince me that this giant mech is extremely graceful and can jump from "pillar to spar".

I'm fine with the twin thing though. Their connection makes sense in the context of the Eldar. I just wonder if the Wraithknight or Pacific Rim came first...

Pacific Rim came straight from Eldar Titans)
The half-dead twin thing is kind of ok, but just kind of. They just took the Titan piloting thing a couple steps further and it feels a bit too stretched now, imho. And yes, Wraithknight does not look graceful to me too, but some of its details are enjoyable. Still, WK is a way better design than a DreadKnight or Centurion)))
