Rhino and Truck can also push Shift to go faster. Rhino and Wave Serpent have the same Top Speed. You do know the difference between Acceleration and Speed, right? The Wave Serpent also takes full damage from the Cockpit (same as rear armour). It is funny how you keep this out of the Discussion...? Where did I state that lower HP is because of Melta Bundle?
pretty much in every thread we keep arguing over the subject of dragons elders keep saying their tanks are squishy so thats why dragons can get away with GG combo and the cockpit you can get away with by angling it in such a way it won't be exposed to much German tanks from ww2 needed to do this because they have their weakest armor in the front , right in front of the drivers fucking face.. so much for that famous german engineering huh., same strategy can be used on elder vehicles just angle your approach like 45 degrees or so. this exposes much less of the cockpit hitbox. altho you do show more of ur side , but thats still stronger than the rear armor. You also forget to mention you can abuse its shape to scoop up preds so they can't shoot at you. Aaaand now i'm gonna have to try and race a few rhino's because i've always considered the shift on the rhino to be an alternative drive forward key.. I'm gonna have to see how much difference this tea..err key makes.. thanks tho.. i must have missed out on a few skulls in the training area ..i guess.. tbh i quit reading them the moment i walked into the pvp area haha like pretty much 90% of the people do i guess
You could add a 10 second cooldown and a 5 second deploy animation and it wont make a blind bit of difference, you people will still not defend your transport properly.
Please do not quote me as I'm not sure if this is correct. But if I remember correctly the reason we where given the Melta bundle was because of the HP nerf to Eldar vehicles, so that we(Eldar) would have the same relative TTK other factions have for our tanks. Now yes it is a little to powerful and I think the best option is remove bundle increase/new Melta bomb with more damage as proposed by others then require some heat from Fusion this would increase the TTK to be more in line with other factions. For all those that complain that it takes the other factions longer to kill a others faction tank then Eldar is a irrelevant fact. The TTK is balanced to the opponent that you are fighting so dont compare your TTK a rhino to Eldars TTK a rhino.
Negative. The initial Eldar Vehicle reduced hp was 80% of a Rhino (6400). the reduced HP was because of how mobile it can be and that most of the time with awareness you can move from danger. It then got reduced to 60% as we have it today. Also the Melta bundle wasn't always the Fire dragon Meta when the Vehicle Health got nerfed. Before you could stack the Melta heat to bring down vehicles faster. So Fire Dragon players invested more in survavability and maybe even a Master Crafted Fusion gun over the Bundle because teamwork payed off. Side note. It was also initialy an idea to make Eldar Vehicles weaker (in HP value) to have them "flank" enemy tanks more and win fight by dodging into and out of cover. This Flanking damage edge never really happend.
Like I said not sure, Yes always new starting HP was less due to being more mobile but thought the additional nerf to 60% was reason for Melta bundle. But happily stand corrected
I won't even bother trying to use melta bombs against Eldar tbqh. Way much easier to just use Lascannons on them, Kannons are even better since it can be used against their infantry as well. You don't even have to deal with vehicle roadkills. So all these TTK comparison's felt kind of unrelated when you can just play differently.
