It made me remember when LSM complained about Tau's Exo in TT and asked for the same shit so they got a space marine inside a space marine unit. And Tau got, 5 months later, a bigger Exo
The whole problem is not that the Eldar are so secured, but that there are too many Loyalists, there are so many of them that you can not count all! Let's take the melbomb from the dragon, then we'll have to give something else to the Eldar. Now they are easy to kill with 3-7 shots. Eldar fly away from bolter fire. And you're still crying. I know why you are crying because you do not have the Eldar of the sixth rank. View: https://youtu.be/1JZi6J_TFFo View: https://youtu.be/iEVJUAb19gM I hate you forever weeping weaklings. Be you fighters. Try to fight honestly, without crying for the form.
You are fail logic, i mean. Whole team will not wait for AV unit - just starting assault. And if you go inside with AV loadout AFTER assault team already died - you are just a leming thing. Melta marine can try to ghost cap but rarely will. In the action their place outside. Other faction have more keys, eldar have most mobile units to cap and preventing cap. It si not FD's trade off. It is faction trade off. Slaanesh Touched. =)) Just read and try slaanesh mark to compare. It's 33% move speed. Release The Brakes! %))
This is another case study of some good proposals being drowned in faction-hating from ALL sides. I wonder what would happen if everyone on these forums would happen to be constructive. Probably the sheer existence of this impossibility would create a rift in time-space and suck in the whole universe or whatnot. Good proposals on bomb problem that came up in this thread so far (and in a related other one): set-up time for melta bombs (maybe a shorter one for FD since they should be better at AV) take away bomb bundle, but increase FD bomb damage so that in percent it would deal the same damage to a Rhino/Trukk that other bombs deal to Serpents (by the way, this leaves them more LP, making the Fuegan gun very easy to put in the loadout, so if someone whines about it...) Let's combine those et voilà, it should be solved. Because overall that means no more insta-blowing of vehicles alone, means if someone fails to defend them, that is now only problem with player awareness and/or skill, not "well, saw him, but yeah...".
Or we can give bundle to every faction... It is viable to, but much more agressive. There is other options, but they will not be implemented in any cases. =\ Mb i miss something? For clarify, again. We are talking about instakilling vehicles. Every can soloing unnatended enemy transport with dedicted AV loadout, but it is not object of this disscus. Stop blame newbie-marines - they will suffer while being newbie-marine, but it is not object of this disscus.
Once more, FD are a problem due to wave serpent that allow them to kill opposition by sliding slightly, disembark, blow up tank, resuply or get back inside if someone coming, move slightly, disembark, resuply, embark and move to next target. FD alone aren't imo a problem as all Eldar they are killable. But couple with WS then it became OP. But it is more a tank matter Eldar tank should not be able to roadkill as they float above ground, stun yes but not kill. Or get a command to lower to ground level to kill but without the same movement freedom.
I have to agree with you that Eldar players are being way too bias on this matter. I do like when they give good points but on this it's just a screaming fest of them trying to get more voices into the air to make it look like there isn't a problem. Also I do like the setup timer and bE has already said that they are addressing the Eldar roadkilling. And if I would be fair the setup timer should solve the imbalance between Eldar and other races. It would still keep the FD as a top AV unit if the setup timer would be lover than other races and it could even keep the bundle. I could go a bit further and give Eldar abit more effective meltabombs at the start if something like this would be tested so that 2 bombs would still kill anything but there needs to be the setup timer. And people don't try to say I don't know what I'm talking about I have been playing with an Eldar character quite a bit and there isn't any cheesier tactic than using a FD with a wave serpent as a road killing machine and support platform for rearming after you have killed a enemy vehicle.
@Slird @Drake_De_Molina Well, about the movement speed, yes and no. Eldar (and Slaanesh Marines) get +33% movement speed (when not sprinting), and +15% Sprinting speed (which isn't cumulative with the base movement speed). So when you're sprinting to a rhino/WS, FD have an effective +15% bonus compared to LSM AV Tacticals, not 33%. The 33% bonus however is present when firing the Melta/fusion gun. At this point, I just want to see the roadkill issue fixed, and then we'll be able to check for sure what is happening with the Fire Dragons.
You know... yesterday i saw two chaos dudes on rhino. They rolled the map in searching of serpents. Disembarked near them, put 2 MB resupply and go away like your OP eldar FD are constantly doing... Goddamn i tired to read your "suggestions" about how completely emasculate eldar faction - roadkill and 2 meltas. You can do some shit with raodkill OK but you want specialist class nerfed? Envy? Eldar hater? Good AV give possibility to eldar dictate their game on battlefield if enemies wasting their transports like dumbs. You already bitched on forum for half of the year "eldar OP" ( @Asheru <3 <3 <3) forcing devs to nerf us constanly. Now we have the lowest HP and naked dragon which is running to you with 150HP and 110 armor is still OP? Or you guys are to lazy to fight eldar veterans and want to "outplay" their skill with another pliz nerf eldar OP whines. fk it Key thing. By the way the ramming of the serpent razor probably should not instakill. Just affect downed mode with bleeding?
