  2. Why the fuck are we arguing about lore and toughness?

    This video shows one thing, and one thing only. ALL Meltas are way way too effective right now. Eldar just happen to have the best loadout for one.

    The only thing that should roast a vehicle that fast(and even then, probably a little too fast) is the MULTIMELTA on the slow ass Devastator.

    Meltas are overperforming so hard right now.

  4. I agree 100%. Eldars are a mix of high speed, small hit boxes, high mobility. Combine this with current state if melee (fast attack spam festival) and you have the reason why they perform so well. Being insta-slashed by a bunch of running fairies you can barely hit is awful. They take as many shots as a Marine. I don't even care about their ranged guns but in melee they just move too fast as an ork is a mere question of luck if I win a fight. The sequence is always the same: they hit me, I stun them, they recover from stun faster than my fast attack animation, I die. I do not even understand why should I bother to d-bash.

    And Fire Dragons are out of control. Ok they are a specialized unit that must be effective against vehicles but... one soldier blowing up a full health Trukk with 1 single Melta bundle? Is this serious?

    @Dreadspectre and why should a Multi Melta be faster at blowing up a tank again?


    The only difference between Melta weapons is the range. damage is the same. It should be so that a Multi melta can melt a tank from a safer distance than the Melta gun or Fusion gun.


    @Njord-Halfhand , if you like @Saeritan 's videos so much could you at least use the Video that is from the current patch?

    Why is the Fire Dragon such a big Issue now? they have been doing this for the last 4 if not 5 patches. Yes it has a nice default loadout, but it's very squishy, no armour upgrade. If you dislike the fact that you need to use a loadout slot to have anti-tank options, I have to ditch 2 full classes for my only 5 custom loadouts. I don't have a melee loadout for having a Better custom Fire Dragon.

    Marine with Melta guns and Melta bomb can do the same and even finish the job quicker because a wave serpent has less hit points.

    I don't know if it's possible for the dev team to split vehicle damage from player damage with weapons, but the Melta barely kills a player target now before you over heat. If you all want the damaged Halved on all vehicles with melta, how can this be done without affecting it's performance vs players?

    Then again most Eldar run a burning wing, that's a vehicles with a driver and 2 or more Fire Dragons. so to prevent we get blown up by the melta bomb or killed by friendly reaper fire.

    The only race that I feel bad for is Orks, their tankbustas need a buff against vehicles, it's a good "shotgun" now, but it's vehicle damage is lacking.

    Have a default Tankbusta loadout for orks, but it Rockit or Beamy deffgun. Give astartes A melta gun or lascanon default loadout.

  6. HOW DO WE HAVE FASTER MELEE? HAVE you ever saw how fast is Space Marine WITH CHAINSWORD? Are you really that mad? I am getting tired of this. You can easily win any Melee aganist Eldar just smashing that button, while Eldar cant even jump away cause your melee takes like 2x the area than Eldar can distance himself!

Eldar movement speed is a problem, they should be able to move faster but currently they can jink back and forth faster than an astartes using ADS (the only way to be even vaguely accurate) can pan their Bolter. This means it's a legit tactic for them to run across open ground at marine and avoid his fire fire weaving left and right rapidly. I don't care what the lore says, that should not be a viable strategy for anyone in this game!

    AT in general should either be safe and slower like Las-gun is right now, or team based.

    With dev-multimelta, killing a vehicle in organized teams is pretty damn difficult because you cannot do anything but running away from them when they try to close the gap between them and you to get you into melee.
    Turning speed is rather slow and in addition to this, hitbox is pretty large.

    Eldar in general can outrun anyone and deny close fighting pretty well which is fking this mechanic up in my point of view.

    Either change the weapon or its' behavior (slower while shooting) itself, limit the load out (no nades therefore for example) or give the game object some limitations in general (slower, no close fighting ability).

    #Edit: Some limitations should be interfactional then as well (no nades for tac-marine with melta as well e.g.)

    That strategy is bread and butter of all non shield GA classes.
