That's already a Chapter, the Ultramarines! I literally laughed out loud when I saw this, bravo! Mira is a fantastic character. As for Marines having families or reproducing, don't they essentially render their will to procreate inert when they go through indoctrination? I don't think a Space Marine would even consider it let alone attempt it regardless if all their plumbing works. Besides, the Sisters of Battle are more interesting then if they made female Space Marines. They dole out justice and fury just like the big guys do without the genetic enhancements, makes it quite awesome when they kick someones ass due to sheer determination and dedication.
I read a news report not so long ago about female players in 40k. Surprisingly they dont all play SoB and are likely to rend you in two if you ask why they dont play them. 1 of my local hobby centre staff is female and shes totally fine with all the races generally being male. If u want to be an awesome female look at farseers

For greenskins it's latent psychic abilities multiplied in waagh so red paint on rocket really means bigger boom For nuns with guns it's pure, blind, unwavering faith that affects immaterium causing palpable manifestation in materium, hence regular women prance around in power armor, kicking ass, being invulnerable and stuff
That is breaking the lore to such a degree that I would never consider this game part of the warhammer franchise. Honestly why do so many people want female space marines? Have you ever seen a girl pumped up on testosterone? The gene seed carries the traits of the primarchs, who are all male mind you. Putting them in a woman would not be good on her body.
I'd like to see the SoB treated like a SM chapter, so when people choose to play as a Space Marine they can then choose to play as the SoB instead of the Space Wolves or what have you. It gives a female variant of the SM without busting the lore too badly.
There is no such thing as female space marines. it wouldn't be called a "Brother-Hood" if it had females in it. beside i am sure they will add the sisters of battle soon enough. Only in death does duty end.
