Have you even bothered to read the damn thread? Not once has he ever supported the notion of a female Space Marine.
Where did the idea of "Female Space Marines" come from? ...this thread is about Sisters of Battle. Something that actually exists in the WH40k universe. People, read and think before posting. Thank you.
It spawned sometime on the internet, either as a troll idea or some idiot thinking it was possible a couple years back or something. If it did come from 1d4chan however, they more or less hate the idea as well and have a page mocking it partially.
The OP didnt know and his support of female avatars in gaming is to be commended BUT to the OP, there is a valid reason why we dont have female Astartes. The geneseed is made from the genetic material of the Primarchs which are all men, which were themselfs made by the genetic material of the Emperor who is a man. They are keyed to the male genetic pattern. So there is a bit of lore reasoning behind it its not some macho bull. If anything im proud that the 40k material has female heros and warriors from all races, but having an all male monastic order of warriors is what makes them unique. I hope this helped you understand why there is no female Astartes. And welcome to the community.
That and any female trying to receive the geneseed would die the atrocious and horrendously painful death of gene-seed rejection. Which already a portion of male neophytes risk as well.
An otherwise already engaged one, yes. How many knifes does it take to kill his psyker, while he is doing something else? Are you sure, that neither tau nor humans where created by the old ones? They'd both fit right into what they'd need for the next war: orcs - melee and bullet catcher humans - ranged and bullet catcher and psy tau - ranged support eldar - psy and elite forces What about the two warp-gates at the poles? I highly doubt, that the Imperium could accept those.
It's a shame the setting imposed this limit on the gender of a Space Marine, really. Would be cool one way or another to be honest, although I've never quite gotten the amount of vitriol and hatred spawned at the mention.
