You got inside information of how Bhvr is doing this, then please enlighten us, if not, SPECULATION! nobody knows jack shit neither do i, we are speculating how they are doing it.

Dont adapt table top fully, did i mention that, did i say adapt fluff, did i say adapt lore, did i say adapt tabletop, so to clarify.

Adapt tabletop rules, adapt lore, adapt fluff and balance the game gameplay wise through regular MMO standards as we all know, adapt the 3 TT, lore, fluff in the aspects of where they make sense and benefit the game in the ways of improving the game and helping balance the game.

I think the point was that 40K has enough all male factions and that it would have been very easy and FITTING to have a queen for the new Necrons because of what they are based on as a faction now. (Egypt/tomb kings in space)

I didn't see anyone make these arguments in the post you quoted...
  4. No, It was a general remark, as I had the feeling that someone upthere was talking about bending the lore so the game won't flop and things.

Also, yeah, they could have added a race with more female predominance. But, I think, they haven't because they couldn't do female miniatures right. If you think about it, they didn't release the new Dark Eldars until 2011, and they keep saying that they will update SoB models whenever they get the technology. The last "new" army was Tau, back on 3rd edition, so, until GW decide to create something new...

To Araghst the Pillager about your post concerning about your post SM - SoB strenght differences.
Astartes have gene-seeds that will boost many abilities.

''In an example, if an SoB fought an Astartes their swords would clash of equal strength but the astartes would be able to employ his sword far more swiftly and more elegantly to win the match, he is far more efficient with it as his armour is tied tot he black carapace as a second skin to him, the armour is like part of his body in essence, differences such as these exist as well as advanced life support systems and other gadgets.''

Strenght would not be equal. Men have more muscle naturally. But these aren't just normal men. They are superhuman. They have secondary heart which will help in situations that require muscle strength (more blood and oxygen to muscles). ''Ironheart'' that gives growth hormones (=bigger muscle strength). Third lung, more oxygen (again helps with muscle strain). Then facts about black carapace and rest of 15 gene-seeds that I did not mention yet.

And aren't SoB normal human sized ? They only got their training, armor and some other perks.

    Space marines got much more.

Someone may think that I'm some kind of pig but I just want to point out that SoB and SM aren't on same line.

For those who would like to know more about Astartes and how they become Space Marines:

It is a damn waste of time to make sense using the wiki or lexicanum to explain, especially if you type it up long and nicely for other people, it will go unappreciated and it wont be read, if it is read, it wont be for "nice work" it will be to complain on how wrong you are with my views.

Sororitas Power Armour is relatively lighter than most suits, providing excellent protection and increased strength at negligible loss to the user's mobility and agility. It uses the same power source as the Astartes, and thus will effectively last forever if properly maintained and undamaged.[5]
Though Sororitas Power Armour provides the same level of protection as suits worn by the Space Marines, the lack of a Black Carapace means the Battle Sister cannot fully interface with the armour and so lacks the same strength enhancement and other advanced life-support features found in Astartes power armour.[3] Still, Sororitas Power Armour does improve the user's strength and allows them to better handle heavy weapons more easily.[5]

    "Strength enhancements".

Yea you win, i will delete the entire work up of my post it was a waste of time anyways, nobody appreciates it anyways.

    READ THIS!

Anyone who is here darn read that. It is so fantastic written, thank you Araghast for taking the time to write it. It's one of those few wall of texts I actually read! I did not just learn more about the SoB, but also am confident that if your ideas are fleshed out (and not just in a nutshell as you describe) it could be actually turned into reality.

my main concern is also one you stated. That the Space marine faction just will keep growing and growing and growing eventually to such a size that everyone else is completely underpowered in the means of players. The Eldar for example I THINK will kinda stay alive and active through female players and those who want female characters.

But if the female characters now also turn to the Tau and SoB, then I just fear that the Eldar faction will shrink even further. *call me crazy or whatever but that is what I think* Iam unaffected by this so I might be wrong (plan to have Eldar male char, because I prefer staying in my gender)

Anyway, if you guys keep talking, please read Araghasts post, especially if you have concerns regards the SoB, it is very helpful and enlightening.
