We've had like a dozen posters in this thread say the same thing "GW would never allow female marines!" In fact, the very first few posts said so. The discussion afterwards though, has been about other hypotethicals and surrounding lore and not always necessarily about female astartes so people need to stop randomly dropping into the discussion and dropping the "GW WOULD NEVER ALLOW IT " bomb because the discussion has moved on past that
I truly wonder why this thread hasn't been locked yet because all I see is people going round in circles and asking for what cannot be done. If you want females in power armour wait for SoB or play a female Guardsmen or even Eldar. I have seen males in threads like these acting as if not having female astartes is offensive to women or that if we include female astartes it will get more female players, well I didn't start a TT army and pile money into a certain faction because they were all male, I did it because I was interested in their lore and their own design. I did it because I loved the universe. They are Space Monks in power armour, they have a female equivalent, The Space Nuns in power armour. No one is saying that a male can't play as a sister of battle or that a female cannot play as a Space Marine but that 30 years of lore should go down the drain because of people not liking the current way things work As for those of you who suggested Behaviour go behind GW's back and make a female Space Marine playable... Are you insane? All that would happen is they would get sued for damaging GW's IP, this game never happens and nobody wins. This is all a classic case of "I want it because I don't have it". I said I wouldn't get involved in these threads and I'm fully aware I've just trudged into the firing line to be ripped apart by naysayers but Emperor damn it I've seen threads like this before on countless wh40k forums and it just always turns out toxic.
I apologize because I was unclear. I meant to say that there will be hordes of people crying for female space marines. As everyone who knows anything about GW knows, there will never be any.
Of course this game will have females, Eldar, and perhaps some chaos mutations, and I think some of the nids can give birth. Now, I'm going to guess someone named zx hero zx and saying we need "female space marries and orks" is a clever clever troll, but I'm pretty sure the folks making this game care enough about the lore to not ruin it.
If you actually read more than the thread title you would know Im not advocating female SMs or orks. So, if you are looking for the troll you need only to look in the mirror. Try that reading thing before allowing stupidity to flow freely from yourself.
Welp, there's 36 pages of people going back and forth, so I was going from your first post asking if they were going to go against cannon and have "playable females of every race" thanks to people getting mad if they were "forced to play all females"

I wasn't only referring to this thread. In fact I wasn't even only referring to this forum, Threads like these were common on the DoW2 community forum before the game was released and also quite rife on the Space Marine game's forums. I remember one of the topics on the SM forum was how THQ and Relic were sexist Nazis because there weren't female SM in the game or that playing meant you were support sexual discrimination against women and that people should boycott it. There were also people in another thread on this site asking for female marines to be put into the game whether GW liked it or not... Similar stuff in the Chaos gender mutations thread. I was addressing the community as a whole without making a new thread because that would've only lead only to more infighting and have nothing of discussion value.
