Hey I am a all about the Space Wolves, but a lot of my friends played Ultra Marine with the pen and paper system.
I've been having a major issue because I don't know yet which chapter I want to play as. If the Blood Ravens were in the game I'd probably go as them because i started WH40K with Dawn of War. But between these 4 I like them all for different reasons. But I think I've finally settled on the Blood Angels, because I like how they are good guys but seen by the others as one step away from darkness (or chaos in that matter).
LOL, careful with using the Blood Raven name lol. They were not a chapter in 40k until that game came out. so they had to have lore created for them because of that addition from the video game. Still a decision a lot of people are not happy about. will be interesting to see what happens in the community if they are allowed ot be used in eternal crusade
I actually only found out after coming to this forum that the Blood Ravens were exclusively made for Dawn of War. Though I did wonder why the games were making such major storylines for them like the fall of their chapter master and gabriel angelos becoming the new one. They're still canon though I do understand that people might preffer other chapters like Imperial Fists and Black templars show up before them. I bet if Relic did EC they would add Blood Ravens from the very beginning.
Space Wolves and Blood Angels as a close follow up. I like both patriarchs but I like the general character of the Space Wolves most.
I'll go with the Ultras as well, always been a fan of the Legion, although having three shepherd dogs it's a tough decision not to enlist for the Wolves of Fenris! The Blood and Dark Angels are awesome as well, hard decision but I'll stick with the Ultramarines.
As much as I love every one of those chapters, I have to go with the Wolves. They were my first army in 40k, and remain my most frequently played to this day.
Dark Angels. Just putting it out in the forums and I am not expecting it, but it would be great if the game mixes in some fallen angel hunting Dark Angels players. In saying that, since it states that objectives will be available to achieve for the factionsdoes this mean that objectives will be available for each race and chapter, clan, etc? I mean as I said above, objectives solely for Dark Angel players, objectives for SW, Black Legion and so on. Either way, don't care looking forward to this alot
