Blood angels pre-heresy. Ultra-marines out of these four, as their lack of gimmicks make for a better sci-fi warrior in my opinion. Ravenguard out of the ones not listed ^^
Ravenguard are neat, what about Salamanders? Or Imperial Fists? Why can't we just mix and match color to make the chapters we want to play as?
Because if the chapters are built in to the game, their individualism can be manifest in the characters. For example, the Blood Angels can have their psychotic anger problems.
Fair enough, I really just mean from an aesthetic POV, like a player who might have a full Battleforce of Ultramarines painted, he can still use say, Blood Angel rules, I have no problem with the chapters chosen from a rules perspective, but I would like to see at least decent customization or something, so I can roll out as the Black Templar I always have played
I completely understand what you mean and I hope that they will add a few more chapters, but just doing a color edit would harm the game more than help it. It would really detract from the universe and the immersion. My guess is they chose these specific chapters because they each have their own codex and I bet they knew that the Black Templar would get rolled in to the new Space Marine codex.
None of them really thrill me. As much as Ward has butchered the Smurfs I have always enjoyed their Greek/Roman-aesthetic.
^Oh Matt Ward, you bad, bad writer. Fair point, sadness is felt on this day, ah well, it's only a game right and I am still a fan of the Blood Angels anyways.
Dark Angels or Space Wolves both are awesome although you can defeat the Space Wolves with a vacuum.....
